Bruder Toys 03761 Man TGS Side Loading Garbage Truck

Bought this off as a present for my 3 years old birthday as he’s been asking for garbage toy truck for a long time. We bought him a small tonka green waste truck awhile back, but on the tonka, the back gate does not open and he always asked me to open the door 😊Anyway, this truck is massive, very sturdy, no sharp protrusion, well built, definitely worth the money spent, it is a bit on the expensive side. He’s been playing on it is non-stop. The truck comes with 2 trash cans (blue and yellow). It does not have sound but I installed the light and sound kit, but now it sounds like a police car 😊 😊I also added the rear side loading into this truck, now he has side loading and rear loading on the same truck 😊, he is so excited when I put in the rear loading. You can buy the kit for the rear loading and install it as it should fit, need to snap of 2 small plastic pieces inside to ensure the backdoor support fits to add the rear loading.

My son loved getting this gift. Even as a typical vehicle loving 3 y/o boy, this has been his most played with toy since he got it. Then again, since he was able to walk he's been one to jump out of bed and plead to go watch the garbage/recycling truck come by and pick up our curbside bins.The body of the truck is well built. At first I was hesitant to spend the asking price for a plastic toy truck but the quality is better than just about any plastic toy I've ever seen. It even has a natural play in how the body and chassis sit together, and after about 6 months of playing with it, all the moving parts still snap into place and move smoothly like day one, The internal "processing" of the trash that gets dumped in the top is just a simple pair of screw shafts but it pushes your trash to the rear like magic. We only use old paper scraps for our play material...literally some left over wrapping paper, and our son loves continually dumping it out, gathering it into the bins, picking up and dumping into the truck, process with the hand crank and dump out the back again. FWIW the doors don't open nor does the steering wheel turn the front wheels but that's not a model car type feature I was expecting.Gotta mention once more how good the quality of the plastic material and the perfect form and finish of the molded pieces are with this truck.

My son is obsessed with Bruder trucks, and honestly, so am I! They are the most well built toy trucks I have ever seen. Some people might turn away at the cost, but there is no better built garbage truck on the market. My son has every garbage truck toy (they are his favorite) that is available for purchase at Toys R Us, Walmart, Target, etc. Simply put, those trucks have consistently broken over time and he loses interest because they eventually fail to function properly. Not only are Bruders more durable, but they are far more realistic in the way they function. Adding one Bruder to your child's toy collection is better than adding ten Tonkas. I can assure you that it will be worth the price!! We have now made a habit of buying Bruder trucks. They also have a phenomenal collection of construction vehicles, which are also very realistic and durable.

Bruder trucks always look great. Attention to detail is wonderful and my grandsons really like them. The only problem is, and I bought three different Bruder trucks so far, pieces fall off within a very short time. The doors for instance. I’ll probably buy another Bruder truck despite that.

My son is obsessed with this truck! He spotted it in a YouTube video because he's obsessed with garbage and recycling trucks he didn't ask for it outright he asked for something like it because he believed I wouldn't be able to find it . We have all the easily found garbage trucks ninja turtles, play dough etc but this is the rolls Royce of toy recycling trucks. It's admittedly expensive but my husband and I are amazed by the quality and it's huge I didn't expect the Amazon box to be that big I figured it was all "filler" but nope it's a big truck . If you have a little one into recycling or garbage trucks I'd say this would make a perfect Christmas or gift for any occasion. Definitely not like anything you'll be spotting in toys r us or target.

My son saw this garbage truck in a Bruder catalog over a year ago, and has been asking for a "side-loader" ever since. I refused to buy it for a long time because he already owns several garbage trucks, and this one is pricey. After making some mature decisions to part with some of his 'younger' toys, I agreed to let him have this. Fortunately, it arrived quickly. I knew how enormous it would be because we had watched some videos on YouTube with this truck. My 5 year old was in heaven when it arrived. We crumpled up some paper into tiny trash and my son proceeded to play 'garbage man' for days. It is pretty cool how it works, and it is as impressive as his other Bruder vehicles. It seems quite sturdy, but my child tends to play gently with his toys. There aren't a lot of side-loading garbage truck toys out there. If your child has the same garbage truck obsession, and knows all about the different kinds of trucks (thanks to kid videos), this is the king of them all.

After checking the reviews from other parents about this garbage truck, I decided to purchase it even though it was double the price of the other garbage trucks for sale. I'm so HAPPY I DID! My son is 41/2 yrs. old and has MANY toys, but he really wanted a "garbage truck" for Christmas. This truck is large and tough! My son isn't the kind to be really rough, but he is a boy! This truck is made VERY WELL and he has stuck many different things through it and its held up. I'm so impressed with this toy I'm looking to purchase other toys available from this German manufacturer.I highly recommend spending the additional money to get this toy that is built to last. It's going to be "one of the toys" we keep for the next generation. I hope this helps...Aloha!
