I ordered these for someone else …. So far - so good. They fixed the hot water problem. Everyone is happy. The person who used them had plumber abilities though- just fyi.

Fit right in, but doesn't seem quite as good as the other ones when they were new. Good for the price.

Fit perfectly. No issues with installation. For stubbornly stuck heating elements best to get a proper fitting socket and long socket wrench.

Worked great and fixed the problem

The included element wrench will not work well with old elements that are hard to remove like mine were. Use a 1/2-Inch Drive 38mm Deep Impact Socket with 6-Point Design, Hex Deep Socket with an impact wrench instead and they'll come right out. Will not need the draining guide board if you completely drain the tank. The elements checked out electrically, but the control board in old GE hot water heater was shot so I returned elements and bought a new HWH which uses different elements.
