Awesome product. Follow directions!!!
Loved this. I'm 55, never had a "sea monkey". Apparently aqua dragons are the new deal . Really quality product. Easy to use. Had lots of them! Unfortunately mine all died! I read the instructions again. Need to aereate the water, give it some sunlight. Reading directions is important lol. So bought TWO Replacement eggs n food pouches for $15. It's actually very cool. Just need to follow directions. I think I failed giving them oxygen. But trying again 😀

Tank leaks💧Dragons die quickly
Bought as Xmas stocking stuffer for my son. We set tank up according to directions . Hatched the eggs and after a few days the dragons(water bugs) were swimming. Today I noticed as I set tank on kitchen counter near window to get some sunlight there was a puddle under the tank. Come to find out the clear part of tank is not completed enclosed then glued to the base. So basically there is no enclosed bottom. So whatever glue they use is doubling to seal both tank and base together. That’s a poor design. I read up on these tanks leaking. It’s more common than I thought. So I had to transfer water and dragons to a glass container for now. I may either return tank or maybe try to use marine glue to seal bottom. Problem is it’s a very narrow tank and I don’t want to ruin the led lights. Those were a big reason I got it as I thought it would also double as a night light for my son. Cool concept of a product but flawed in design.Updated January 18,2025 I bought aqua dragon eggs and food and clear tank at way lower price. I transferred the water from old faulty tank as website says that you can use same water as there are eggs and essential foods in the used water so a next generation of hatchlings will occur. Followed same directions maintained temp food and water airing a few hatched but not many and lasted only a few days then all died. I’m thinking this really isn’t a long lasting thing. Funny as a kid growing up we had water dragons or something like them that were as big as nickels. I used to catch them but the aqua dragons do not grow big. They die quick and my son and I are bummed. The tanks are so thin we can’t even reuse them to put a gokdfish or a betta in. This seemed like a great gift and that it would give us so much time of enjoyment but sadly it did not. Would I buy this again? No. I will buy a fish next time.

Nice. Eggs hatched.
great! so far the eggs hatched and the babies are swimming! Hopefully most survive and grow bigger. Most kits have older eggs that don't seem to survive well.Nice little kit that comes with everything needed to get started.

Cute immersive activity
The media could not be loaded. My daughter got this for her birthday so it’s been 2 months. We still have several large “sea dragons” swimming around and they still bring us joy every day. It was easy to set up and the light inside is a nice feature compared to the other style. I like the pictures on the side of the tank too. It has gotten quite murky but they dont seem to mind. I try to clean it up every now and then. I think it’s worth the money for such a fun and long lasting activity.

This is awesome!!
The media could not be loaded. My little boy really loves this. He checks on it every day. Within three days we were actually able to see miniature little specs, moving around.

Fun experiment for kids!
This was so much fun for my toddler! You can’t see the sea monkeys when they first hatch, they look like tiny specks of dust! Ours have grown and seem to be thriving. I used bottled water and we had no issues!

Disappointed
I got this for our homeschool classroom and my girls and I were so excited. I followed the directions and we hade tiny swimmers after day two. They seemed be growing even tho I noticed there were only a few. After day 5 they were gone the little swimmers weren’t swimming. I don’t know what happened they were fed abs I made sure to keep air bubbles. We kept it for over a week hoping there would be more that would hatch and nothing happened. The tank started to smell bad and I washed it out. Very disappointing!
