I love looking for natural alternatives without the side-effects that the medical drugs give you. I noticed that when I was taking the metformin, it would give me bad chest pain and weak legs and muscles, even nerve damage on my ankles and feet. It would make me feel them cold and burning hot, it was awful, something I had never felt before and once I stopped the metformin, it went away. The bitter melon was helping just a little bit. My doctor tells me that its bad to self medicate yourself and wants me to take the drugs she sells me regardless of the bad side effects it gives me. Of course the pharmaceutical business won't give up in trying to sell you the drugs for life that will complicate other stuff in your body to throw more pills at you, how sad, doctors have no conscious, they just care about the money they can make off of u when they complicate other stuff in your body and you keep coming to them. Glad there is natural supplements out there that do help. Since I can't swallow pills, I crush it and mix it with a tiny bit of yogurt, and ceylon cinnamon, it tastes awful and sour but that's the only way to take it.

I've taken a picture of how many tablets were whole , and how many were broken up... Don't know for sure , yet if they make a difference , because i've only taken one or two and started noticing the broken ones , just giving a picture to show information on what I paid for.

Gave these a shot for "prediabetes" diagnosed by my doc. Type 2 runs in my family so between checkups my fasting blood sugar went from 90 to 112 and I was pretty alarmed. Doc wanted me to try metformin as this coupled with an A1C level of 5.8 was symptomatic of prediabetes. I'm not opposed to medicine and usually listen to my doc but he understands I often like to explore natural means first. After trying several other blood sugar control supplements I decided to give this a shot. Did it very methodically. I ate the exact same thing at the exact same time at night for my bedtime snack, and did it with all the other supplements vs without and then with the bitter melon. Instantly dropped me from an average of 110-119 in the morning to 95-98. Now, if I take two of these at night and don't snack, I wake up with my BS in the Low 80s. Post meal blood sugar has dropped by an average of 20 points. Before taking this, I would be on average 120ish two hours after a meal. If I take 2 tables of this with my meal, I'm usually at 110-115 an hour after and in the 90s or lower two hours after. Discontinued the metformin entirely as there is no need for it. Hope this helps someone out!

I have been trying to find a product to help with gut health and bloating. I started taking probiotics and noticed a slight improvement. I proceeded to try removing gluten from my diet and noticed even more improvement as far as reduction of stomach pain. I decided to try bitter melon and holy smokes, I am so happy with it. My bloating is pretty much all gone. I have more energy and can consume small amounts of gluten again. I take one pill once or twice daily after meals. Been using them for about 2 months now. I recommend you try this if you have hit a wall when it comes to losing weight. I think it speeds up metabolism...at least it has with me. I am so thankful for these pills.
