Well written and makes linear algebra accessible
This book is brilliant. I really struggled with mathematical concepts through education and wish I had this kind of material through my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Looking forward to volume 2.

The best Maths book on the market! 5 Stars!!!
I LOVED THIS BOOK! I am currently studying applied mathematics for my Computer Science Masters degree and needed extra help for an A.I project I'm working on. I was recommended this book after chatting to someone who read it on my discord channel and said it really helped him because it does not follow old traditional and outdated maths book, but it quite fresh and written as if you're speaking to a knowledgeable friend rather than your old maths professor. I hope there is a Volume 2. 5 STARS!!

I found this book while searching for books to help me understand machine learning for my job, and it did not disappoint. This book is great - it's engaging, and well-explained - and I especially liked the clear graphics. The author adds funny and personal anecdotes so I didn't get bored while reading it either. Thanks! and hoping for more volumes.

As a student going into ML without much of a linear algebra foundation, I'm finding this book highly useful. Starts from the basics and works at a reasonable pace to establish core ML concepts in a way that the reader can not just understand how it works, but EXACTLY why it works. This book is special because unlike most CS books, you can read it front to back like a novel. This is a wonderful change of pace that reignited my interest in the intersectionality between mathematics and CS. When I read this, I feel not like I'm reading a book, but instead like I have my very own personal teacher sitting in a room with me explaining ML concepts and guiding me along in a dynamic, interactive fashion. I think it's because the author explains things in a slightly less traditional or formal way than most other books of its kind, in more of a story telling fashion. (Yet still just as informative) Most are familiar with the idea that novels are more easily absorbed than textbooks. I believe the author has leveraged this concept in a beautiful way by introducing ML as a storyteller, keeping the reader engaged and interested, rather than just spitting out axioms and theorems. I believe that if a lot more educational books were structured like this, things would change a lot in a positive direction. Definitely would recommend!!

I’d love to like this book, but it’s simply not formatted for Kindle. Unusable in landscape mode, no dark mode and is no better than a PDF on IPad. Annoying
