Let me start off clearly: I love this beautiful knife. It's razor sharp; it does well with both vegetables and meat. I was so pleased with the very thin slices of tomato I produced with this knife. It cuts through steak/roast beef with ease. And it feels good to hold, to work with. The box it came in could serve as a lovely presentation box if you're giving it as a gift, and I appreciate the safety sleeve that is provided. I note that I finally could no longer sharpen my (much more) expensive chef's knife, and, frankly, I prefer this one. Time will tell, but I think the quality is excellent. So glad I bought it.

I needed a new knife, specifically for cutting California rolls (iykyk) and this has worked PERFECT! Very sharp and so far has held its sharpness. I have used it about 20 times and it still feels just as sharp. It’s heavy duty and very sturdy!

Very pretty and extremely sharp. If it holds the sharpness it will be my favorite knife. The thinner blade makes it seem to glide through food, even partially frozen meat

Good knife, good value!

Still loving this knife. I've had it for almost two years and I use it every day. My blade is still reliable, smoothly sharp, the knife is strong and the perfect size. My favorite thing about this, is the weight. I've had a hard time with finding the right knife that is comfortable to use and in turn, safer for me to use; But this knife saved the day haha I am absolutely gifting this as it has been a staple utensil in our kitchen. I think a reliable knife can change the way you look at cooking. A practical and thoughtful gift this could be! It has definitely made it fun :) I wish I had more to say because I love it that much haha!

The PAUDIN chef's knife is practical, efficient, balanced in its weight and at the same time robust and resistant without losing aesthetics, I like the engraving it has on the blade (gives it personality) and from the date of purchase it still retains good sharpness. The wood of the handle tends to pale over time, however this does not affect its operation or the grip of the knife itself, also try to use the knife as a tool to cut things that are not food, materials such as wood, bone, plastic etc.. ruins the edge.
