I've used many different basmati rice, always looking for the best one. This is it. The rice is long and has substance, does not fall apart or mush up. It always cooks up perfectly. I cook my rice Persian style and it is important that the rices does not stick together, this one doesn't. It never disappoints and the taste is exceptional. It is the best I have ever used. The delivery is outstaninding, I got it the next day! Love Lal Quila rice and won't use anything else.

I was delighted with my purchase the first time. Excellent basmati. But the second time the inner plastic bag was open and rice spilled inside the yute bag. Lacking guarantee of purity, I had to throw it out. Amazon refunded fully, and commented that they have had lots of similar complaints.

After reading the reviews on Amazon I ordered this brand rice for best aromatic flavor but I disappointed when I cooked the rice. There is no real basmati aroma which I use to eat in India and also its sticky but taste is ok.
