I do not have experience with other banded kits, but this Gonex system is hitting on all cylinders. The mat design is great; I don't remember seeing any others this well done. Very flexible in ways to use it, the bands can be easily tightened or loosened by how many hooks on the board you utilize. The manual is excellent. Clearly written in English, with a number of exercises and related info plainly laid out. I just wish it was a little larger, as there is so much info available there.With a smaller room in our house for exercising, this takes up less space than bulky weights, barbells and dumbbells, yet I find my workouts very thorough.There's a reason these exercise bands are getting more popular, and I don't regret this purchase at all. For the money, both my wife and I are getting great workouts, and in differing ways. Definitely recommended.

*Update May 2023* after sending 2 emails, Customer service finally got back to me after about 2 weeks and handled the issue of missing parts. They went above and beyond my expectations by, instead of just sending the missing part, they sent me an entire new set up. Wasn't expecting that. Now I have a back up if anything breaks.If you do have any issues with this product, contact customer support and just be patient. They will eventually get back to you and should take care of what ever issue you have.First let me start with why I gave this a 2 star review. I received my package in a damaged box with parts hanging out of it and one of the resistance bands is missing. Gonex has yet to respond to my email concerning this. When/If I ever hear back from them to send me a replacement, I will update this review to 5 stars.Now to my review of the product at least what I am able to use. So far seems to be a decent set up for exercises. The push up handles however are very difficult to place and remove from the holes in the board. They have a very snug fit which make it hard to remove without breaking the board or the handle itself. Hopefully they will loosen up over time. Everything else works as designed. Can't comment on the resistance bands until I get a replacement. The one I do have looks to be sturdy and should hopefully last and not break causing an injury. Time will tell.

I have questions about durability over the repetitive use of the equipment but that's just conjecture at this point.It seems like it's great quality at the outset.My only complaint is there is only two sets of bands very light resistance and regular resistance. Depending on how you hook it up on the foot board you can increase the resistance to a degree but this isn't true if you have to use the door hinge anchor because there is no way to control the length of bands this way. Well that's not completely true. You can actually do the exercise farther from the anchor for heavier resistance but at some point it feels like you're putting to much strain on the bands.All that being said, this system is made for toning and range of motion more than resistance training for strength. I didn't realize this when I ordered it. So for what it is, it's worth it's price tag for sure.

This is a really nice enhancement to a traditional band set. Versatile is a perfect description. The platform provides some cool options for push-ups and a great alternative for squats. Good booklet to provide ideas about different moves that can give you a total body workout. And the bar+handles provide a nice variability to keep your muscles guessing.I would say this is a great for those who are in-shape and want to stay there, but don’t want the hassle of a gym. Good for beginners as well, probably a rest day option for high performance athletes.Finally, really solid customer support. I had an issue with a band and they took care of it and were extremely responsive.

i saw a few product reviews that raised my interest in this particular system and upon initial receipt i really enjoyed it. two weeks in i was feeling a nice burn from the various muscle groupings in a way i hadn't felt doing a home workout in a while. however, in the second week the board cracked and the post landmine sleeve was somehow able to twist in the apparatus and then bend in a way that makes it unusable. i can still use the board but i do have to balance my weight on it a certain way to keep it from breaking any further. i didn't see a way to contact the seller but i do hope they reach out to me. would love to test out a replacement board. if there were some sturdier parts this system would definitely earn a higher rating.
