Pen is perfect, refills disappointing.
I love the Parker Fifth pen but the refills really don’t last long and the last one I bought was totally dried out within a week. I don’t understand why Parker can’t fix this, especially since it is the ONLY refill that fits the Parker Fifth. There is no alternative. My verdict: The pen ‘fabulous’ but quality of refills ‘mediocre’.

Looks great but does not write - Trying once more.
From first use, there is barely any ink. To write one must wet the end m, keep shaking the pen to try to get ink to flow. Useable for approximately 100 -200 five letter words, if that but not all at once. This refill costs over $15! This has happened TWICE. I love the concept and design, but a refill needs to write as well as look good! Extremely well made and solid.
