I really like it
I had purchased a new table saw and needed a new dial indicator to make certain that the blade and miter slot were parallel. I ordered it and was told a delivery date and expected it on that day. Amazon sent a email advising me that the order had been delayed and that I could get a refund. Unfortunately I took that route, I say unfortunately, because I purchased another dial indicator (Not from Amazon) and received it and put it together as the directions told me to. However, it would just not stay in the miter slot and I never could get an accurate reading. Subsequently I re-ordered the Neoteck digital caliper and received in on the day that I was told. I assembled it as the directions indicated, and it worked like a charm. My brand new table saw’s top was not in alignment. W/ the help of the Neoteck caliper I was able to “dial it in” to w/in 0.001 inch.It is very well made and easy to assemble and read. You can use it in imperial measurements or metric. This came w/ two batteries and a very well made storage case. If you need a accurate and well made dial indicator, purchase the Neoteck, you won’t be sorry

Great alignment gage
This gage worked well. It fit the track of my craftsman contractor saw. Durable anodized alominum with width and height adjustments. Allen wrenches were included. Allowed for easy alignment of the saw blade and saw fence. When aligning the blade make sure to mark the spot on the blade. Measure this spot and rotate the blade so your hitting the same spot on the back. Even good blades have a bit of wobble and this helps accuracy.

Had to fix a flaw in tooling, but I really like the gauge
I bought my Neoteck model NTK021 digital unit (not a “dial” unit) to calibrate a SawStop PCS table saw. In short, I am very pleased with how the item works, but not pleased with a bit of bad workmanship on the bars, not the gauge. Read further if you want detail. The “GOOD” –I got it in only 3 days (in Nashville) paying no shipping cost even though the original estimate was 5 days. If you are looking to buy the model I did, you can probably safely disregard the 1-star and 2-star reviews for the most part. My item was new, not used (as some experienced). There was no need to change the back of the gauge because it was already ready to attach to the extension arm, so complaints about the back screws being too small were irrelevant to my model. All assembly was easy and explained by the videos on the Amazon posting. For some reason, I got an extra battery besides the one that comes in the unit and two instruction manuals, and they contained clear, slightly different, but non-contradictive info. I appreciated having both, and the extra battery was a nice surprise. The two bars are heavy, amply long, and solid. The slide bar fit with no slop at all in my SawStop’s miter slot. Having so far only used it for blade and fence alignment, I am very pleased with its performance. The digital readout facilitates doing any corrective adjustment math a breeze. Both are very well made, dimensioned properly, and machined smooth. The plastic case is very nice and houses the gauge in a form-fitting depression and the knobs fit in the case in tray holes on either side of the gauge stem. The case has good plastic hinges and its latch is well designed, however . . . . .The “NOT SO GOOD” –The length of the case is a bit too short to store all the disassembled parts. I think they may have beefed up the slot/slide bar and the extension/mounting bar to both be longer and heavier, because if they were shorter, they could fit inside the case underneath the gauge tray, but they do not. I prefer the longer length and stronger, heavier build of the two bars anyway (as opposed, for instance, to those that come with the Rockler 'dial'-type unit). The case is light-duty plastic but it is “protective enough” for most mishaps. The ”BAD”I was disappointed in the thread tapping work done in their manufacturing process. The screw threads in the holes in the slide bar were very poorly tapped. I found the first bad one when putting one of the black knob screws into the slide bar. Either the bad thread tapping work in the hole ruined the knob screw or the die work creating its threads was bad from the start. I had a set of taps and dies, but I was unable to re-die the threads of that one knob screw, so I replaced it with a 10-24 thumbscrew I had, as shown in the photo attached.I successfully re-tapped the threads of the other hole that was badly tapped and it accepted its spring/ball bearing adjustment screw fine after that. Messing with this took the better part of an hour, and not having the correct knob screw irked me, so I sent an email to the “warranty email address” listed in their instructions ([email protected]) asking for another knob, but the email bounced back, so don’t expect any warranty coverage. The ”GREAT”I contacted Amazon’s customer service line and asked what they could do to get me another knob. The rep (Baras, in India) said he could refund my money or send me a replacement unit. I told him that both those options were over the top because all I really wanted was a knob, and I could get by with a 10-24 thumb screw I had. He insisted, I declined again and he insisted again. He said I should not have to pay for a defective item, so I relented and chose option #1.I have now used the unit for a while and it seems to be performing very well. Read the other reviews and then decide if you want to roll the dice.

Good Value
Set up was easy and the accuracy seems good. I set it up so that there is no movement in my miter slots on the table saw.

Works Great
Easy to setup and use. So much easier and accurate compared to just using a combination square when setting up table saw top to be parallel with the saw blade. Purchased saw used and had to remove the top casting to ease the moving op. Hopefully won't need to use very often; but, if I do will know it will be easy to check again. Unit sits firmly and snug in the miter slot using the four adjustment screws. Includes two allen wrenches for assembly and final adjustments for the miter slot.

Questionable quality
First impressions out of the box it seems like quality materials were used, but the tolerances of the machining are for crap. Three stars for now. Will post an updated review after some more testing. Rating will either go up or down and might be returned. This is an update. Still three stars. The digital dial itself is easy to use and seems quite reliable from the tests I did with it. The mounting rails however leave much to be desired. I had to take a file to them to be able to get the screws through to put it together. Once together, they are difficult to adjust. There are two screws on the sides to adjust the width, but you have to pull the unit out of the miter slot to make the adjustments, and it takes a bunch of tweaks to get it right. It would be much easier if you could adjust them from the top while still in the slot. There are two screws on the top, ostensibly to adjust the vertical but they seem quite useless. The whole mounting system is quite wonky and difficult to use and I feel I could have done better making one myself out of scraps of wood I have around my shop. And finally as another review mentioned, it would be nice if the case held the entire unit instead of just the digital unit.

Princely Precision at a Pauper’s Price Point!
This is beyond satisfying!! It helped me adjust my new DeWalt Table Saw with a little too much precision. I mean the out feed end of the fence was out by .004”, and the blade was dead nuts. Well made and well packaged with an extra battery, at an impressive price point.
