Works better than expected by a long shot
Pretty straight forward as far as setup went. Now to be honest this is not my first rodeo so I am speaking to the more experienced Koi pond owners. I've got a small 850 gallon outdoor Koi pond with approximately 50 different sizes of fish, along with snails and of course frogs. I do use water hyacinth, and submerged plants also. I've been using a Tetra pressure filter for the last couple of years with decent results ( just did more frequent exchanges with less volume). This year though with the tremendous amount of rain and temps being all over I couldn't get it under control without possibly going the chemical route. Anyways making this boring ass long story short I did due diligence and research and decided to try this first before the chemical route. 24 folks....24 hours, that's how long it took for the pond to go from the smelly swamp ass to actually something pleasing to be around. Now I'm sure cleaning the filters will be nothing to celebrate (actually it's a great design, pull them out, hose them off, slide them back) but with the job it's done so far it's amazing.

Great bio filter
Added this to my new 150 gallon pond 2 weeks after initial setup. With this and some beneficial bacteria my cycle was over in no time. works great, keeps water clean and clear

Great pond filter
Make sure you read how much the filter can handle. Mine overflowed because of an overpowered pump. If the pump flow is too much it will spill out!

Missing parts
Product was shipped without all the parts (seals in particular). Product could be improved with some helpful instructions. As it is, trips to the hardware and Home Depot made the installation more difficult than it needed to be.

Great filter
I own two of these. I bought one a few years ago that is still working great and bought this one for a second pond. Keeps my pond crystal clear and I only have to clean it once a year.

Works as Designed
Easy to clean and works well. I remove top, empty contents, hose out container and filters. Close back up. It's not an immediate remedy. But, it's definitely working. Will probably buy another to have a spare. Size is a little bit larger than I realized. But, it's the same size that's advertised. Good value. Common sense assembly - along with assembly directions.

Works Great
The instructions are useless. Luckily I found a video on u tube. Once it was installed my pond was totally clear in a matter of hours.
