I'm going to be remodeling our bathroom and want to replace the cheap multi-turn shutoff valves on the sink with some decent 1/4 turn ball valve angle stops. I typically use BrassCraft KTCR angle stops--they're excellent quality. But they're not inexpensive, so when I saw this 10 pack for not a whole lot more than I would typically pay for three angle stops for a bathroom (two for the sink and one for the toilet), I figured I would check these out. These valves aren't quite on the same level as the BrassCraft KTCR versions, but they still seem pretty solid. The valve is a true metal core ball valve, not like some of the cheaper 1/4 turn valves that use a plastic core (I'm not sure I really trust those). These valves turn smoothly, the machining on the threads is good, and the compression fittings fit over 1/2" nominal copper just fine and connect to standard 3/8" braided toilet supply lines just fine. My only note is that the handles may look like metal, but they are actually chrome plated plastic. I would have preferred metal handles, but I suspect that these will hold up fine for the limited use that angle stops usually see. Once I've installed these in our remodel, I'll update this review if they don't perform as they should.
