I was re-keying an electronic Schlage lock to match the rest of the locks in our home. During the the process, the back plate seperated and all of the pin springs went everywhere and could not be salvaged. Ordered these replacements, they fit in the Schlage lock just like the original and work great.

I lost the keys to my old lock and needed a quick replacement, so I went with the Prime-Line E 2103 Cylinder Lock since it works with Schlage-shaped keys and fit my door perfectly. Installation was mostly straightforward, but I did have to cut the tailpiece shorter than I expected. That part was a bit tricky and took some extra effort, but once I got it trimmed, everything fit and worked smoothly. The key turns easily and is also simple to remove—no sticking or hassle at all. The lock feels solid and secure overall. I’m really happy with how it turned out and would definitely recommend it if you need a reliable replacement after losing your keys.

This hard to find part fixed my problem. I’m still learning DIY, took a few tries but it all came together pretty quickly. Pay attention to how the lock comes off before installing. The end cut easily, and fit well. The key is the same feel as my original Pella lock, which I break off when the key sticks. Not much on the market, this will do.

It was the replacement of Schlage lock. I tried to replace and it was a tight fit and key would not turn. I tried several times and no luck. I would not recommend this product.

I recently got a new front entry door and storm door that has Schlage locks. I wanted to change the lock cylinder on my Pella sliding patio door to Schlage so I could use the same key for all my doors. I was a little worried because the description says "not compatible and cannot be rekeyed to match other Schlage locks, nor will Schlage keys fit into this cylinder lock." And some commenters said their Schlage keys wouldn't fit into this lock cylinder it uses slightly thinner keys. I decided to take a chance and ordered it anyway, and I'm glad I did. My original Schlage key for my entry doors fits smoothly into this lock cylinder with no problems. And I was able to get a locksmith to rekey this lock cylinder so it works with my existing front door and storm door key. Now I have one key that opens my storm door, front door, and patio door. Mission accomplished.

When I opened the box the cylinder had already fallen out of the plastic packaging. Everything looked to be OK so I was not too worried. I had purchased this for a sliding glass door which we had lost the key. I took it to a locksmith to get rekeyed so it would match the front door. The locksmith said it was one of the worst they had seen in 20 years. The cylinder appeared to be slightly "warped" and the pins were all different sizes than standard. It took them two days to modify and finally get it to work with my front door key. When I installed the cylinder, it didn't fit! I got out my micrometer and none of the sizes came close to the drawings on the website. Their manufacturing tolerances are not very tight. I got it to work in my application, but was not worth the hassle. I wish I had paid a few more dollars and gotten a better one.
