Easy to use, be seen and stay safe!
Easy to use and easy to charge. Arrived charged, good quality and simple to put on. Very light weight, easy to store in backpack pocket. I use on early afternoon/evening hikes, runs and walks. Definitely bright (two options for brightness) - keeps me feeling safe in the winter darkness. Drivers definitely notice me more when I am wearing this product.

It works
I bought this light about a year ago and used it pretty frequently with my night-time running. The light stayed in place, was easy to adjust, the light was bright, and the charge lasted a while. I had no complaints. After getting sick and temporarily taking a break from running for a few months to recover, I recently started speed walking again. For whatever reason, the device would no longer charge when I plugged in the charge cable. It just ran out of battery last night and is unresponsive to the charge cable so it can no longer be used. Good product in the short term, but definitely has some flaw that causes it not to last. Update 3/20: updating this to a 4 star. I discovered that the light just won’t charge using a usb-c to usb-c cable. You have to use a usb-a to usb-c cable or it will not charge. Not sure why a usb-c port is used if it can’t actually be used to charge the device. I changed the cable to one like came in the original box and it charged and started working again.

Great product! Extremely visible!
Comfortable and super adjustable band, should fit no matter size. Running on a road where I meet atleast 5 cars no matter the time of day I wanted a little extra visibility. This is perfect. I can’t speak for battery life but I’ve charged it once and used it for atleast 3-30 minute runs. The light in the front is also super bright! I can see it reflect in road signs from atleast 0.1 miles away. I’d recommend to anyone that walks or runs outside near light traffic.

Stopped working after 2 months!!
Bought this in October 2025 to walk my dog. It was working great until it wasn’t. The light stopped working in December 2025 from light use. It seems to charge when connected but will not turn on. I suspect the issue is weak soldering with the chord. After reading how poorly the company handles customer issues, I won’t waste my time calling them. This will go straight into the trash and I’ll avoid this company in the future.

Great product with one flaw
Works great. Lights up the path without having to hold a light in your hand. Can tilt it down, so that you can see where you’re stepping or up to see ahead. Doesn’t bounce around. Easy to put on and operate. One flaw that’s not minor: the light is clipped on to the bracket with a tiny post that fits into a tiny hole. I think it’s that way so that you can adjust it. The problem is that anytime you touch the light (whether it’s to turn it on or adjust it) it falls out and it’s not easy to get back in; especially in the dark, where it’s basically impossible. Still a great product and I’m VERY happy with it.

Very visible - highly recommend
I regularly run between 4:30-5:30 in the morning, so my top priorities when buying a wearable light were that it made me visible to cars and didn’t rub or bounce around on my body. First let me speak on the light. It is quite bright and I am for sure visible to vehicles coming or going. The lamp can be angled down (like in my video) or straight ahead. After I recorded the video I played with the angles a little and actually decided I liked it straight out instead because it helped me see my surroundings a little better, but I couldn’t see the sidewalk in front of me quite as well. If you walk/run on uneven surfaces, straight down would probably be a better option. As for the comfort of the light, I barely notice it at all. It fits snugly around my chest and I don’t have any issues with the shoulders rubbing or sliding down. The lamp itself stays put on my chest, but because of the way my arms/shoulders move, the beam of light bounces around a lot and in the really dark parts of my route, it almost made me feel a little motion-sick. I grew accustomed to it after a few minutes though and it didn’t bother me after my first run. I think wearing the light in the straight out position did help. This is a non-issue if you’re walking. I’ve worn it 3 times now and my initial thoughts still hold up. So far it’s been on for a total of about 2 1/2 hours right out of the box and I haven’t needed a charge yet. Also, during one run, there was a light rain falling the whole time and it didn’t seem to affect the light at all.

Perfect light for walkers
My wife and I have been taking 4+ mile walks at a 14 - 15 minute per mile pace early in the mornings since COVID-19. Since it has been dark in the mornings and some of our streets are a little rough, as well as for safety, the last several weeks I had been carrying one of our bike lights in one of my hands trying to keep it steady. I saw the Avanto light on a jogger one morning and went on Amazon to see if I could find it, and did. After reading other reviews I decided to try it so I could free up both arms while walking. It works great. Battery probably doesn’t last 5 hours on high, but it does last at least three, so that gives me three days use before charging. Also, when walking, even at a fast pace, I don’t get the “ side to side” movement that some runners noted in reviews. The only minor criticism I might have is that they might make the straps a little longer? I’m not skinny, but also not super huge in the chest, and while the straps are elastic and are comfortable on me, if I was much larger they might get a little tight. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend this product.
