I own a 2000 Toyota 4Runner and replaced both front wiper blades at the same time. I decided to purchase both this one by ANCO and ACDelco 8-4417 Advantage All Season Metal Wiper Blade, 17 in (Pack of 1) . They cost about the same and I just figured I'd see if there was a difference. The ACDelco one works better. The housing of the ANCO blade is a bit heftier and looks sturdier, so I had originally placed it on the driver's side. However, the ANCO leaves more streaks than the other, so I ended up switching them from driver to passenger side and vice versa. They are luckily the same size. It's more important to me to have a streak-free windshield as the driver, so I prefer to have the ACDelco on my side of the windshield. For the passenger side, this ANCO blade does just fine. Both blades were very easy to replace. Just press the button to unlock, and slide off the blade from the arm. This ANCO blade is not bad and a very good deal compared to buying replacement blades at the auto parts store. It was certainly much better than the old blades which were worn and very streaky. But I prefer the ACDelco for better performance, at nearly identical cost. Had I not replaced both side-by-side, however, I probably would not know the difference.

I was looking for wipers for our Toyota Rav . We went to the dealer for oil change and they tried to sell us some very nice factory Toyota expensive ones but we want an alternative wipers. I went to Walmart and they were OK price but not as good as Amazon. These wipers were about a eighth of an inch longer than the original factory ones but that made it even a better fit because that more of the windshield gets cleaned . I have had the series of Ancho on my other car and they work great. They do not crack in the winter time with a lot of snow , another thing that I noticed is that they don't squeak when there's very little water on the windshield. Another thing that I like that there is no streaking . This may sound strange but I only bought one wiper for the driver side. I wanted to see if it works on one side instead of going head and buying the passenger side. But after having these I'm definitely going to get the passenger side. As a matter fact I'm going to go ahead and get the rear ones also . I wish they were just sell the rubber insert versus the whole arm. But for the price you really can't beat it might as well go ahead and pay for the whole arm and not feel bad about it. I definitely recommend these over the other high-performance wipers that you see that on the market especially at AutoZone.

Fit my Chevy 1500 made in 1993 like a charm.

Like another reviewer, I am of the opinion that my car doesn't need anything fancy and as long as it works and does what it needs to do, any wiper blades will do. I still think that way, despite my unsatisfactory experience. I ordered the 17" wiper blades along with these 26" and they arrived together in a long, undamaged cardboard box. I opened up the box, took out the wiper blades in their respective plastic containers, crushed up the cardboard box for recycling, and walked outside to simultaneously throw out the box and change my wiper blades. Walking out the door, I heard something drop but did not see anything, so I kept walking. I recycled my box and walked to my car, opening up the car door to prepare to test out the old and new wiper blades. Upon setting the new wipers (still in their plastic wrapping) on my passenger seat, I realized (with mild horror) that the 26" package was very much opened and crushed, while the 17" was completely untouched. I immediately went inside to take photographs of the packaging and see if anything was amiss with the product, at which point I discovered that what I had heard drop was the hinge adapter that had fallen out of the open packaging--I had come very close to throwing it away with the large cardboard box. The 26" wiper blade does not appear to have any visible damage, but I have attached photographs of the packaging as it was sent to me. The product itself works pretty well, especially for the price and in comparison to my old and very worn out wiper blades, but the bottom half of the wiper does vibrate rather obnoxiously when removing water. Alas, it does what I need it to and I guess that's enough. The true test will be waiting to see how long the wiper blade holds up before I absolutely have to replace it. I'm disappointed with the packaging because it was obviously sent to me that way and not damaged in the mail (the cardboard box and 17" wiper blade are in great shape), but because the 26" wiper blade appears to be in new condition (up to this point) I see no reason to return it.
