Save your money and time don't buy it
Title: A Deeply Disappointing Experience with JBL WAVA Flex Airbuds – Not Worth Your MoneyI recently purchased the JBL WAVA Flex Airbuds, expecting a decent experience given the JBL branding. However, what I received was nothing short of a complete letdown. From the very first day, the product has shown multiple flaws that make it virtually unusable. The audio quality is far below average – the sound lacks clarity, bass is weak, and the overall experience is nowhere near what one expects from a brand like JBL. The connectivity is another major issue. The earbuds frequently disconnect from the device, and to make things worse, the volume automatically drops during use, ruining the entire listening experience. What’s even more frustrating is the lack of after-sales support. There seems to be no proper service center or support channel available for this product. Once you've spent your money, you're completely on your own. It feels like this product was launched without any intention of long-term support or user satisfaction. In my opinion, this product is a cheap imitation hiding behind a big name. It does not reflect the quality or standards that JBL is known for. I feel genuinely disappointed and regret spending my hard-earned money on something so unreliable.I urge others: please do not waste your money on this product. There are far better alternatives in the market that offer both quality and support. Learn from my experience and stay away from the JBL WAVA Flex Airbuds.

I can Suggest
If you are specifically looking for open-ear earbuds, the JBL Wave Flex is the right choice. The bass performance is also underwhelming and does not meet expectations. While the design is good, I would recommend this product. You can feel Brand value when you receive a call.

Perfect Hard tip earphones on a budget.
I am not one to typically leave a review unless it is on the opposite end of the spectrum, I either hate it or love it for me to take the effort of leaving a review. I had been looking for a hard tip earphones for a long time as an alternate to my airpods 2 as most brands usually make the pro type earphones with the cushioned ends which don't fit my ears very well and I don't need noise cancellations with earphones of this type. After doing a lot of research with various options in various price budgets I pulled the trigger on these JBL Wave Flex which seemed like a good budget option. I have to say, the fit is even better than the airpods 2 and sound is great too. Connects super fast and is compatible with macbook and iOS. Definitely bang for the buck.

Excellent but malfunctioned after a yr
Been using this for a week and here are my thoughts.1. ✅ Sound quality - these come with 12mm drivers and are amazingly tuned. I'm not surprised because Harman always delivers when it comes to sound quality... Bass, treble and mids are so well balanced.2. ✅ Build quality - the charging case is like a small pebble and fits into your hand and even small pockets. Build of the case and the buds are crisp and polished and feel sturdy.3. ✅ Connectivity - rally quick connectivity. The moment I unboxed it, I got a beep from my phone (which already had the BT turned on) asking to pair it and download the JBL app.4. ✅ Battery - I've been using it for about 5 to 6 hours a day and haven't had to charge it yet. Battery drain is surprisingly less even after prolonged use.5. ✅ Fit - since these don't have rubber ear tips and sit in your ear lobe, I don't feel.like my ear canals are blocked, like I feel with other in-ear earphones. Also it's IMPOSSIBLE for them to accidentally fall of your ear no matter how hard you try and move around. I did the yawn test, where most of my in-ear earphones come off but not this one. This one stays in even when I yawn big. That's a big plus for me.6. ❌ Touch controls - I don't feel they are that responsive. Most of the times I keep touching them to cut a call and it just doesn't happen. Took some time for me to get used to it. Luckily I could disable them for music in the JBL app, so I don't accidentally pause or skip. The call controls can't be disabled.7. ❌ Features - Ambient aware and talk through - I don't find much difference when these features are enabled or disabled. I think Ambient Aware might come in handy if your buds are noise cancelling but since they're not and I'm already aware of the ambient noise around me, it makes no difference. Ambient aware picks up ambient noise around you on the mic and feeds it to your buds, so you hear what's happening around you when listening to music. Talk through just reduces the volume when you want to talk to someone, so you don't end up screaming at them. Never felt the need for these features and I don't think they're that helpful.8. ✅ Feature - Voice Aware - I really love this feature. This feature has to be enabled via the JBL app. Once enabled, they stay enabled always. What this feature does is: when you're on a call, you can hear your own voice on the buds when you speak, and the conversation feels real. Feels like an in-person conversation, especially when you're in a noisy place and you think you have to scream for the other person to hear. This feature reassures you that what you speak is being heard, because you can hear it yourself in the buds.9. ✅ EQ & Presets. The JBL app has some presets and an EQ that can be customised if you don't like the presets. They all work amazing. I disabled the EQ as I have Dolby EQ that comes with my phone and I prefer that.Overall I love these buds and can't believe I got them for 1999. I reluctantly bought these buds as the average rating was 3.x but I'm not sure why folks are rating it down and complaining about build quality and sound quality when both of them are fabulous and at this price point.===== 16 months later ======Abruptly stopped working. Suddenly the volume on the right bud was lesser than the left. A little later volume on both buds were low. At 50% volume nothing could be heard. I didn't drop it or anything. Just decided to malfunction. Very saddened as this was my fav earphones ever. Looks like the life of these buds is very limited. I'm changing my 5 star review to a 3
