Most reviews seem judging this against real booze straight. How's it taste in mocktails?

I bought it specifically for making tasty non-alcoholic drinks. Bitterly disappointed in this as well as the Rituals Rum. The gin wasn’t great. I asked a few foodies and whiskey drinkers for their opinion. Steer clear of this if you love whiskey, but even friends who aren’t into regular whiskey found this undrinkable- and all the drinks were mocktails. Never served it straight.

the packaging and the info i have read said Zero. its a combination of herbs and spices. its aromatic and mixes great. i prefer the whisky over the gin. but both solid.
