Good quality product - when installed correctly, should provide an excellent connection
Consumer units have an earth terminal strip, where the protective earths for each circuit are connected. Most electricity supplies will have a terminal where typically a 16mm earth wire is connected, and terminated on the consumer unit’s earth strip. However, there may be more than one consumer unit, and metal pipes may need to be connected to a common earth point. In these situations, an external earth block may be needed. This 4-way earth block has one 25mm terminal and three 16mm terminals, although it will, of course, accept smaller sizes (e.g. 10mm). The description says PCB mount; however, I think it’s more likely to be fixed to a backboard (using 5mm screws). The terminals have substantial cheese head slotted screws, so tighten both screws to grip the wire firmly, using an appropriate screwdriver, but don’t overtighten!Made from brass, with a bright finish, these blocks appear to be of good quality, and when properly installed, they should provide an excellent physical, and electrical connection.Recommended.

Quality earthing block
A solid good quality earth block.I use these on my solar install to join all the solid-core earths together to the various components.Has a sturdy build, the screws clamp and hold the cable very well, and it can be screwed to a wall, fusebox or cabinet to secure it.A decent price and good quality.

Not Pretty, but it works
When this arrived in its Amazon envelope I was rather amused by the little envelope this was sealed in within that. Anyway I don't think anyone is going to be able to fold this in half. It's a rather basic little block that is designed to fulfil a function and if this meets your requirements then that is fine. It is not pretty, but that is not that important and the price is fair (£5.00 at the time of this review) so I have no reason not to give it 5 stars . . . . I will return if I do have a problem when I use it.

Brass Earth bar
This is a regular brass earth bar. I've de-burred the bottom of the two mounting holes and can confirm its a brass core due to the colour and how the chips form. The bar is plated silver, but I'm not sure what the coating is. The screws are not steel as they are not magnetic and the are too well formed to be brass, so not sure what metal they are. There is one larger hole for the incoming earth, it will take up to a 37mm2 cable (7mm hole). The remaining 3 can take up to a 25mm2 cable (5.6mm diameter)

Does the job but not the best looking
This is a solid earthing block, it feels weighty as you'd expect for solid metal. Screws are well finished and work very smoothly. The actual finish of the block isn't great, nothing sharp or dangerous, but it is pitted/scratched with edges that are a little rough. Given the typical location this would be installed at, it really doesn't matter for most use cases. Just be aware of this if you're installing it in a place it'll be visible and where looks matter.

Durable
There's not really much you can say about review units like this. It's a solid earth block made of clearly a high quality metal and the screws easily lock wires into place. It's exactly what you would want, at a good price point as-well.

It does the job it’s intended to do but I’ve knocked two stars off my review for the poor finishing
This is an effective earth block for domestic wiring applications. It has eight holes with screw fixings and two countersunk holes for mounting the block. The only negative point is that it is poorly finished – The edges are rough and the holes have slightly jagged edges as if the drill vibrated slightly. One of the holes is also slight larger than the others. It does the job it’s intended to do but I’ve knocked two stars off my review for the poor finishing
