I don't impress easily & I do write reviews often as I rely on them to help me & hope this one can help you :) Shipping took a pretty long time & I do have Prime. Just be aware it's probably not going to be here in a couple days, so plan accordingly. Stability is awesome! The feet are angled and wide. No amount of twisting while on the top step (within reason) was going to make the ladder fall. The steps are very stable, study, & secure. I read a review from someone who said this is not a great but good enough & it will do. I disagree. I think this is the best home ladder I've ever had! At 5'2" on a feeling tall day, I need a ladder because the kitchen countertop is always in places I need to reach things, like in the living room so I can dust the fan attached to a cathedral ceiling. The steps are textured so even when I get on it in just my socks, I don't feel like I'll slip off. There is a handle at the back (front??) that has a securely attached neoprene type material. It's not slick so a person will feel stable while holding on to it. It folds up & down very well & there isn't any grit or tension that would make it too difficult but it also doesn't swing open freely. It's really made for Goldilocks because it's just right ;) I was able to fold it up & put it between the fridge & kitchen countertop but eventually moved it to a closet to keep it out of sight. It is somewhat heavy because it is constructed well, but again, being just 5'2" & 125, I can easily move it from room to room & I'd imagine someone a little taller would be able to move it even easier. I can drag it across the carpet when I need to move it & it moves smoothly. I really feel like I bought a quality product & would definitely use this seller again for similar products. I'll just be aware of shipping times.

This step ladder has proven itself indispensable to me many times since I’ve had it. I used it while setting up my new pergola for everything from lifting the construction up to adding finishing touches like hanging the lights. It is sturdy and well made. The steps are wide and I feel comfortable and safe using it. It is something I will use often for adjusting the shade sail, which is the main reason I bought it. I’m finding it handy for so much more than that though. Many instances where I’d want a step ladder but only using the first few steps, this is much more lightweight and easy to use. It is really compact in size so I store it in a small garden shed. This was a great buy for me.

ups destroyed box but was okay once removed from shrink wrap. First test was on porch to test if would hold my weight of 215 pounds with shoes on. next test was inside with only socks on. on third step, my head was just below my 8 foot ceiling which is where I need to replace a kitchen light fixture. it was stable and the steps did not crack. I would not use this ladder to carry heavy items as the plastic steps do not have any metal supports. also in cold weather the plastic would be more brittle. I have other ladders outside but they get spiders on them. got on sale so this was a good fit for me. would buy again! made in Turkey part of which is in Europe

When assembled, the ladder initially appeared fine but proved difficult to fold, making it less portable than advertised. The stability was acceptable, but the folding difficulty hampers its usability. I would not recommend this item. Having owned similar rubber ladders that eventually aged, cracked, and caused injuries, I sought a stainless steel ladder this time. The product description contains errors, as this ladder also wobbled dangerously from the right front leg to the left rear leg, failing to stand on all four legs. This design flaw makes it extremely dangerous, and I cannot recommend it. The ladder felt cheap, was shorter than described, and lacked stability during use. The inferior materials used resulted in a product that was neither sturdy nor safe, contrary to its listing. The steps are made entirely of plastic without any steel support underneath, further compromising its stability and safety. Additionally, it was bigger than expected and difficult to assemble. Overall, this ladder is uneven, unstable, and unsafe, falling far short of expectations.

I already have a step ladder similar to this, but there are definitely times where I used it, the old one, and felt like I was going to fall or slip. With this Bartnelli one, though, it was simple to assemble and I was up and off the ground and mere seconds to fix a recent DIY job in my home. It came wrapped completely in plastic, vacuum sealed, keeping it safe during delivery. But then seconds, you just release the bracing handles and you're ready to go! I felt so safe on the steps, even on the top step which usually scares me the most. I felt secure and was able to complete my repair with ease. It wasn't a moment where the ladder slipped or shook suddenly causing me to feel uneasy. Feels and looks great and is bound to hold up for years!
