UNP SUV Tent for Camping, 6-Person SUV Tailgate Tent - Easy Set Up with Rainfly, 10'x9'x78in(H)

I bought this tent for an upcoming camping trip with my son. It'll be wonderful to have so much space for our gear and my son's sleeping area (I sleep on a cot in my tailgate). It's lightweight, packs up small, easy to put up, and it's tall enough for my 6'2" son to stand comfortably. It also seems very well made, especially since the price point was so good.We did a test run in my yard (photo included) on my Bronco Sport. We didn't test the rain fly because it's so dry where we live, but I can say that it did great in the strong winds up here. We left it up overnight to see how it handled. It didn't budge! It would have been great to have clear instructions, but we figured it out intuitively. It was simple and quick to put up and attach to the truck. We put it up together but I was able to take it down by myself (I'm 4'11", so that should illustrate how easy/light it is). It packs up nicely in its bag for easy packing and storage. Note about photo: my tailgate was closed, so the connector looks saggy. It was nice and taut while the truck was open.We love that we'll be able to detach the truck from the tent to go exploring and the tent closes up like a regular one.10/10 recommend

I recently purchased the UNP SUV Tent (6-Person, Dark Blue), and I’m genuinely impressed with its design, functionality, and overall quality. While the instructions recommend two adults for setup — which I agree is ideal — I was able to erect the entire tent by myself without much trouble. That’s a big win in my book.Once assembled, the tent stands freely without needing to stake down the corners, which makes positioning and adjustment very easy. That said, if there’s any wind, staking is a must to prevent tipping. The structure is solid, but it's still a tent.Inside, the space is generous. It could definitely sleep six adults in individual sleeping bags comfortably, but for two or even four campers, it feels downright luxurious. I’m 6 feet tall and can stand up inside without any issue. There's a convenient hook at the top for hanging a lantern, and the side pockets are a thoughtful touch — one set forward and one set toward the rear on either side. Each pouch is split into two compartments, giving you four little storage cubbies for phones, flashlights, or other small gear.Attaching the tent to the rear of the SUV was straightforward. The boot opening is wide and adaptable, easily fitting different SUV sizes. Ventilation is excellent thanks to the mesh ceiling and side windows, and the included rainfly fits snugly and offers solid coverage without sagging or flapping.All in all, this tent is a solid investment for dry camping trips. It’s roomy, practical, and designed with smart features. The fact that I could set it up solo adds even more value. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable SUV-compatible tent.

Nice and large SUV tent. The part that attached to the vehicle seems nice and big easy to attach to the vehicle. Overall the tent material seems thin and cheap. One bottom corners anchor strap fell right off without even being used. If it's stitched that weakly I am not sure how well this tent will do in a wind storm. Nice bathtub bottom design. Windows on all sides which is great but they are high and I am not sure how hot this tent would be to camp in summer.

I camped twice with this tent already. Once with it attached to the SUV, and the other time as a regular standalone tent. It's great that you have the option to do both, and it works well either way. Overall, it's a terrific tent. Durable, easy to set up and put away, about 15-20 each time, and is spacious for family of 4. If it lasts 4-5 camping trips, then it is worth the money. If it lasts beyond that without something ripping or tearing, then even better.

Bought this for my Hyundai Santa Fe along with SUV blow up mattress so we could sleep in the car as it was more secure. It was perfect. The tent was already very roomy and fit securely to my SUV. It was quick and easy to set up too. I was very impressed with the quality and it was well worth the money. I cant wait to go camping again now that I will feel much safer sleeping in the back of my car but still in the great outdoors with the kiddos!

Really enjoyed this tent! Used for 4 days at the Gorge! Setup was easy and tent is roomy! Had a queen size blow up mattress, tent rug, & our suitcases with room to spare! Stayed dry and held up in the wind and quick rain. Zippers feel sturdy!

Just camped last week with this tent. At first not sure the advantage of being attached to the car. There are many. You don't have to unpack! The tent is very waterproof and windproof. Solid tent with the same UNP issue of all of its tent-cold use a better zipper. I'm 5'3" and can almost straighten my arm out up top. Great one person size spread out. Very comfortable. No leakage of bugs of water. Easy to hook up and disconnect and there is screen between the outside and inside of tent. Would defenetly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Setting this up as a standalone tent is straight forward. The SUV attachment, however, is a bit of a nightmare. The materials are clearly all there, but the instructions are terrible.
