I ordered a 3600mah and got a 4600mah... so thanks! The tools that come with it are trash just hit up Ifixit and get a proper set theyre cheap. I charged it fully and a week later still working on fully draining it. (Newer lithium ion batteries don't require a full cycle like this necessarily but the chip that controls the battery in the ps vita does need to see a full cycle to accurately clock the battery percentage so i reccomend fully charging it, draining it all the way until the system shuts off and then fully changing again, after that treat it as normal.) Also you should run battery fixer if you have a softmodded console, idk why you would own a vita in 2024 that isn't modded... Some things to consider though, installation was very easy aside from a few quirks. First of all, there's no heat shrink on the wire. The oem wire has it mainly to ensure it doesn't get damged or chafed by the plastic when it's mounted and shell is closed around it so be very careful with that. Also i added pictures of where the wire comes out of the battery enclosure, it's further towards the edge of the battery in comparison to oem. I just used a razor to cut the plastic open a bit, otherwise it can't reach the pathway for routing the wire and will get pinched. Other than that this is a very good budget option for increasing battery life, im a week in and it's still 56%. very good for a quick mod a resell.

it was an easy replacement but when i plug in the vita its just a solid orange light and im wondering if thats normal

Just installed the battery and to my surprise, it’s not a 3600mAh as described, but only 2181mAh. Not to mention that the battery seems to have already been in use for almost 7 hours with 51 charge cycles. See picture.

Don't worry about the setup in the pictures. My lithium battery charger comes with a grade mode that fully drains and then fully charges. Ran the test TWICE and found the real mAh of this battery and it is basically half as advertised. Still going to use it because I have no choice, the original one is shot. Value for money? Maybe if it was labeled correctly. Battery life? Half of what is advertised. Does it fit? Yes. Does it function? Yes but at half the mAh rating. Ease of installation? Easy.

El producto llegó en la fecha indicada y trae todo lo de la imagen, lo necesario para hacer el cambio. Solo hay un detalle en el caso de la batería que me llegó. La batería funciona a la perfección solo que el conector que sale de la batería está situado unos milímetros arriba(como indiqué en la foto) y en el caso de mi PS Vita(fat) chocaba con la placa y no dejaba maniobrar el cable. Lo que tuve que hacer fue una triquiñuela rompiendo un poco la placa de plástico donde chocaba el conector de la batería y que así el conector saliera libremente; fue sencillo pero es un detalle a tener en cuenta si te pasa como a mí.

La entrega fue muy rápida; 2 días. Te incluye todo lo necesario para realizar el cambio de la batería aún que en mi caso solo utilice el destornillador amarillo, el azul es un poco más chico y no es adecuado para los tornillos, desconozco si los tornillos varían entre modelos de VITA fat y slim. En todo caso el cambio es relativamente fácil de hacer aún sin conocimientos sobre el tema, un buen tutorial en YouTube y teniendo cuidado con los conectores de la batería y panel táctil trasero además de 2 seguros, no te toma más de 40 minutos en hacer tu mismo el cambio. Si consigo otra VITA sin duda pediré otra vez la misma batería. Por cierto en la descripción viene como batería de 3600mAh pero a mí me llegó de 4600mAh lo cual se agradece mucho :D ya que la batería original es de 2210mAh por lo que está duplica la capacidad de autonomía :D
