I’ve been looking for a way to make my YubiKey experience more "seamless," and the HID OmniKey 5022 CL (Dark Blue) delivered exactly what I needed. Here’s why I’m giving it 5 stars: Zero-Effort Installation: This is a genuine plug-and-play device. It uses native CCID drivers, so there’s absolutely no software or driver installation required. You just plug it in and it's ready. Universal Compatibility: I work across multiple operating systems, and this reader hasn't missed a beat on any of them. Whether it’s Windows, Mac, or Linux, the OS recognizes it immediately. Built for YubiKey: This was my main reason for purchasing. Using the NFC functionality of the YubiKey with this reader is incredibly smooth. It makes logging into secure accounts much faster than constantly plugging and unplugging the key from a USB port. Works as it should be
I bought this to use the online functions of a German ID card, as it is one of the officially certified card readers for this purpose. Works like a charm, but that's all I've been using it for.

Does not work with Wiegand cards.
Did not read wiegand cards although it appeared that it would work. I’m sure it’s fine for other cards.

Ordered this to create multiple gift cards for an Epos system. The ui is a bit outdated and needs a refresh but for what it is it works fine. Price for what it is seems to be average. Quick tip to the manufracturerer would like a cable tidy to come with it to keep the cable to a small length when moving around but can purchase one separate just would be nice.
