I made a giant bottle of vanilla with these beans. I used golden rum instead of vodka. We'll see how they taste.

The package seemed very small to contain 25 beans but once I opened it (it is vacuum packed) all 25 beans were there and seemed to be good quality, decent size and smell very good, and they were a little moist. I cut about half of them lengthwise and put them into a 1 liter bottle of vodka to make vanilla extract. Just made it 5 days ago but the liquid is already turning brown and smells very good. I am hoping in about 1 month or 2 it will be great extract. So far so good. I would recommend them. July 2022 update: My bottle of homemade extract smells good. It has been 6 months. I have been using it. The smell is good but flavor is not very pronounced. It is there but not super strong. Sometimes I add some extra artificial vanilla along with the homemade to boost the flavor. I think it would have been better to add in all the beans into the vodka and the flavor would be stronger. Maybe 20 beans + for a liter vodka would be stronger extract. Overall the smell and flavor are good and I enjoy using it.
