Good value, good size
I purchased these antivibration pads for quieten the AC unit on my camper. Since the unit is bolted to the ceiling, I am using them in a slightly different way than most might(under appliance feet). They are very stiff rubber, which should hold up to vibrations of heavy units for a while. The camper AC unit has had a buzz from loose mounting due to age, which wedging these pads between the mounts should prevent. There is a definate rubber smell, similar to some cheap rubber handelled tools I've purchased, but it doesn't smell up the room, like some others have suggested. And if it is like my other tools, the smell will only fade with time. These are worth the price.

It works !
I was very skeptical but I have horrible whirlpool machines that shake like crazy. I finally installed these on the washing machine that likes to go for walks and it was really good! The machine still makes some sounds but the pads absorb most of the energy and the washer does move anymore.

Good, thick solid pads that still allow drainage
I used these pads under a mini split condenser that I installed to give it extra support and cushion in addition to the smaller ones that came with the unit. They are also ribbed for more cushion, and allow water to drain away from the metal brackets as well. I'm very happy with them.

What I needed
Just what I was looking for. The odor some reviewers wrote was not bad with the ones I got. I mean there was chemical odor but it didn't fill up the garage , only can smell it when you get close (about a foot away) to it. The pads itself was what I needed to buffer sound

work well but can't get over how bad they smell
For anti-vibration/sound control, they seem to work well. However, I cannot stress how strong and unpleasant the smell of rubber is. If you touch them for a second, the smell transfers to your hand. If you have them in a small room, when you enter the room or sit down anywhere near them, the smell will get to you. I've soaked them in vinegar for a few days, left them outside, and tried murphy's soap oil. Nothing has helped. I may try to wrap them in plastic wrap then cover them up with a plain material "pocket" so the plastic wrap doesn't show. If that doesn't work, I'll give up and not use them inside the house. For outside, they should be fine.

worked great in reducing the noise from my garage door opener
My garage door is directly under my bedroom, and the vibration of the garage door opening was high/ loud I used these isolation pads on the opener motor and where the chain track attaches to the wall. A significant difference in noise. good quality product, very flexible in modifying for the installation.

Anti Vibration Pads
Can't tell if the anti-vibration feature works in my application since I installed it at initial installation - As several have mentioned the smell is very strong and un-pleasurable. My wife asked me to put the invoice that came in the package in the garage; it was permeated with the smell also. The good news is the smell eventually dissipated - took about a month. This would be unbearable if installed in the house for the first month.
