Size Does Matter!
I ran across this looking for a microphone that would work with the iPhone 15 Pro WITHOUT having to mount a huge receiver and extra cables. I actually ordered something different then ran across this. I immediately canceled my other order and bought this one. First of all, the audio is great. Sounds very warm and it rejects unwanted sounds really well. BUT if you need even more background noise rejection, you can turn on noise isolation by clicking the yellow button on microphone one time. If you have the phone receiver plugged into a phone, clicking the yellow botton two times starts and stops the camera. That's way more handy than you'd think. The size....oh man the size. It's TINY!!! I literally forget that it's on my shirt which is great for me because I like to move around a lot when I film. Lowkey, something they included are stickers to cover up the Hollyland logo! If you don't want the white logo (which I don't think looks bad at all) you can cover it up with white stickers, black (which I did for one) or even emojis. I did one with an emoji because why not! Everything doesn't have to be black and serious all the time. Why not have fun with the small, round shape of the mic. The camera receiver works perfectly. I love the knob on the top that allows me to adjust the mic level without going into the camera settings to adjust the gain. You should still adjust the camera gain but for a quick adjustment, it works fine. The phone receiver works perfect even with a case. And it's low profile enough to work in a phone gimbal and not throw off the balance to bad. It comes with SO MANY mounting options for the mic. You can use button magnets, clips with magnets on the back (I assume you'd use this for a thicker shirt or maybe when wearing a jacket) and it has a magnet necklace. The instructions recommend placing the mic near the lapel area so that's what I've been doing. Everything about this produce oozes quality. I bought this with my own money and they did not ask me to write this review. I'm just really passionate about products that do a job and do it to perfection. Downsides so far....none that I can see. Sure, it doesn't have 32-bit float audio but if you are in a semi-controlled environment this is a non-issue anyway. Maybe the higher end (larger) mics sound a little better but the freedom of having such a small setup allows me to focus more on the film process since the mic just gets out of my way. I think having creative freedom (your gear gets out of the way) is way more important than the minor technical differences between gear. I haven't filmed with it yet so all my observations are from the testing I did with it as soon as I got it. Check out my Youtube channel "Nick Leads" where you'll see this thing in action a lot more!

Excellent Wireless Microphone for Church Services and Content Creation”
The Hollyland Lark M2 is an exceptional wireless microphone that truly exceeds expectations. We purchased it specifically for church services, and it has been an excellent decision. The audio quality is crystal clear, allowing voices to be heard cleanly and naturally, which is essential for sermons, worship, and live recordings. Its compact and lightweight design makes it very comfortable and discreet to use, while the setup is quick and simple. The signal is stable, with no interruptions, and the noise reduction works perfectly even in environments with background sound. This microphone has also been a great tool for creating high-quality content, helping us produce clear videos for social media, livestreams, and other digital platforms. The battery life is reliable and lasts through long services and recording sessions. Overall, the Hollyland Lark M2 delivers professional-level performance, excellent reliability, and great value for the price. It has become an essential part of our church media setup. The Best Video Mics I Have Ever Owned
I am a full-time content, creator and videographer and have owned pretty much every wireless mic system that has come out in the last five years. the problem I was trying to solve is finding one that was reliable enough and had a battery life long enough to shoot all day. I also found other options too heavy as I often clip mics onto my T-shirt. When I found the Hollyland Lark M2s I was attracted to them because of the magnetic mount and the size of the mic. It was small enough not to pull and tug on my T-shirt and allow me to inconspicuously place it on anything I'm wearing. Here's why it has become my go-to mic for daily video content creation. Mic Size & Mic Mount At about half the size of other wireless mic systems. I am shocked at how good the audio is compared to the size of this mic. The receiver was almost, and with the magnetic clasp can be stuck on any style of shirt, or even the bill of a hat. I love the fact that they also have stickers that you can put over the logo so the simply looks like a black circle. My favorite mic design ever. Always Connects With other mics, I felt like I was always checking to see if audio was recording diligently before the beginning of shoot. With these, I rarely do that because they always connect and always begin recording without any issues. Phone Connector I do most of my shooting on my Sony A7iv I do occasionally pick up my iPhone to record bits and pieces. The USB-C and iPhone connectors make a huge difference. They connect seamlessly and I don't ever have to worry if audio is being captured or not. That's really the theme of these mics. They connect without any issues and always work without fail. Battery Life Even though I use it every day, it feels like I only need to charge this mic once a month. I have to remind myself to charge it up before I go out on important shoots because I'm not used to needing to charge. Also since I typically only use one mic, since this system has two I always have a back up that I can connect if my main mic dies. Carrying/Charging Case I love how small the carrying and charging case is. Smaller than even the DJI mic systems I have owned. this makes it easy to throw in my camera bag and even easier to get out and use. It's barely bigger than my AirPods case. Summary If you are a content creator, then this is absolutely the best wireless mic option that I have found. For the price, it's truly unbeatable. In professional settings, people are blown away at the size and performance. This will be my mic of choice until something revolutionary comes along and knocks it off the throne. But whatever that is, it must truly be revolutionary. That's how much I love these mics.

Compact, Clear, and Creator-Ready – A Fantastic Wireless Mic System
The Hollyland Lark M2 absolutely exceeded my expectations. I’ve tested several wireless lav systems over the years, and this one strikes the perfect balance between professional quality and effortless usability — especially for content creators, YouTubers, or anyone needing great audio on the go. Right out of the box, it feels premium. The transmitters are unbelievably lightweight — you barely notice them when clipped on — and the included accessories (magnetic clips, camera receiver, USB-C and Lightning receivers, charging case, cables, windscreens) make this a true all-in-one package. I was recording within minutes of unboxing. Sound quality is excellent. It captures clear, crisp audio with minimal background noise, and the voice comes through naturally — not overly processed. Even in outdoor environments with some wind and traffic, the included ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) helps clean up the sound without making it feel artificial. Battery life is a standout feature. I’ve used it for full-day shoots without needing to recharge. Each transmitter lasts about 10 hours, and the charging case gives you multiple full recharges on the go. For mobile creators, this is a huge advantage. The range is also surprisingly good. In open areas, I got reliable signal up to 100 feet with no dropouts. Indoors, through a couple of walls, it still held steady. The magnetic clip system is clever — you can wear the mic visibly or keep it more discreet using the magnet or included silicone necklace. And the app (LarkSound) lets you control volume, check battery levels, and update firmware easily. One unexpected but cool feature is the ability to trigger your phone’s camera remotely with the mic — very convenient for solo shooting. Final thoughts: This mic system punches way above its price point. It’s ultra-portable, simple to set up, sounds fantastic, and includes everything you need — no extras required. Whether you’re recording interviews, reels, live streams, or voiceovers, the Lark M2 is a reliable, high-quality solution that won’t disappoint.

If you need professional level audio, buy this!
I bought this to pair with a mirroless camera. So this review will be based on that. I tested this mic in several places like in small spaces with people talking in the background, in public places like stores and amusement parks. I've even tested this mic outside while on a bike (so basically windy weathers). I would have to say that it sounds pretty good and the wind guard works well too. I think it's just a preference but I really love the small size it's hard to spot in videos or video calls and sounds professional. It is easy to connect, though it is a little snug if your also attaching the camera RX to the top. Overall I would say it is a really good mic but it definitely isn't a budget mic, so should you get it? Yes, if you own a camera and need professional audio, but if your a beginner content creator you should try the Hollyland Lark A1 Wireless Microphone it has better value and sounds decent for YouTube, Tiktok, Instagram, etc. Thanks for reading my review! Hope this helps.

Great function, one significant flaw.
Nice, straightforward and easy to use. Things connect more or less automatically and the sound quality is way better than my phone's or DSLR's internal mic. I've not tested the battery or range limits, but so far everything is working as expected and I'm generally impressed. I do have a bit of an issue with the fact that they put all the effort into making the fancy recharging case... and there's no spot in there for the phone adapter, it just.... has to exist somewhere nearby and I have to hope for the best. It perfectly holds and charges the two mics and the base, but there's no spot for the USB-C receiver. Feels like an oversight that could easily have been addressed, becuase now I've got to keep track of that little guy.
