Wow! ... like Snuffles the self hugging doggie!
i have other insulated mid/high neoprene uppered bog/muck boots and had my antennae up for a not too short, not too tall version. just before the recent 'snowstorm' in Gotham i snared these and i'm very happy. i'd had boots like these on my radar for a while, narrowed it down to a few options, chose one (i accept the others are good too) and am glad i did. i have trapezoidal (wide/FlintstoneFeet) and i've been wearing these since. i'm reminded of a cartoon dog Snuffles who's so enamoured with a treat he hugs himself and floats. longevity is tbd but i have a hunch they'll last a long time. the forgiving upper (not too tight) needs to be covered otherwise rain/snow can get in, but that's known and addressable. glad to recommend.

Great boots day 1
I work for a concrete company driving a ready mixer. Our feet stay wet if we don't have some good rubber boots. 1st impression is very good. great grip, great look and comfort. Definitely go down 1 size from what you normally wear. Overall I am happy with my purchase. Will update as time goes on.

Perfect fit and very comfortable
I don't usually take time to do reviews but I am very happy with the boots. I typically wear a 10.5E in regular lace up boots like Thursday and Grant Stone but i got these in 11 to allow for heavy socks and the fact that they seem to only come in regular width. I can't speak for durability yet but they seem to be very well made. I will look to this brand for other products.

My friends all stared
Has he finally lost it, why is our friend buying rubber boots, he lives in the middle of a desert. Okay, true I haven’t worn what they used to call galoshes or overshoes since I was twelve. But coming soon will be a place for me where it actually rains, even snows and this piece of apparel is an absolute must, even for grownups like me.HOW TO WEAR THEMThese things should be self-explanatory but maybe not really. The word I used was overshoes, which is what a hundred percent of people used to wear rubber boots as, something that slipped over their shoes. There were all kinds of other boots that could be worn by themselves, without shoes inside. I’m not sure what they had in mind for these. Based on the assumption that they slipped over my everyday shoes I ordered one size up, just to be safe. I had mixed results. These boots are NOT made to be worn over shoes, a fact that I don’t think they make clear enough. So if you wear them to a party you can’t just leave them at the door unless you want to walk around in your socks. Ordering one size up was a good idea because the opening is rather snug and just fitting my foot into it wearing normal socks took some effort. While they were slightly loose I would probably wear these with heavy woolen socks and the fit would be just about right wearing a larger size.HOW WELL ARE THEY MADEThese definitely are made well, the treads are like snow tires, I would feel confident wearing them on any surface – snow, ice, mud, you name it.DRYNESS AND WARMTHIf these were intended to be worn with your shoes on I would say they are well insulated. But with stocking feet inside of them on the positive side they will keep you dry but on the negative side they may not keep you very warm.YES NO MAYBEBack when I was twelve and cool kids didn’t wear mittens and scarves anymore mom cautioned me that I should still always wear my rubbers. That piece of advice didn’t seem to stick though, but I like to think I’m a little wiser now and maybe I should start listening to some motherly advice. At sixty five bucks these are probably ten times what they cost back then but for once here’s a product that has actually gotten better with time. They look like they will last a long time and that’s what value is all about. I say yes with the caution that they should be clearer that these are not overshoes, they are boots you wear without shoes on.

Waterproof and Comfortable!
These things are fantastic and very comfortable! I walk an entire 12 hr shift as a CO outside. Waterproof, comfortable and easily washed off. If you patrol outside or work in the ekements, this boots for you, but go down 1/2 size. They run big!

Wonderful boots
I got these for my picky oldest son. He has a very distinct style and I wasn’t sure these would work for his needs for a rain boot but to my dismay he says they are so comfortable he just wears them. Daily. Like some kind of land locked fisherman missing the muddy waters. He says the wide toe box is what does it for him. It makes them comfortable enough to go out in and as long as he isn’t walking miles (which frankly he wouldn’t be) he said he is fine in them for mild activity. They are surprisingly breathable and not stiff or bulky despite appearing so. Honestly if they came in the exact shoe in leather he would never wear anything else.Bonus - he just hoses them off when they get dirty.
