Excellent upgrade
Love the camera but it is heavy

The low light capabilities is amazing as with the K1
It carries with it all the features from the K1.but adds some imho game changers to Pentax cameras.The Auto focus is updated and is incredibly fast, decisive and accurate. It has made a huge difference to me how my shooting experience is.The accelerator chip is not something I've bothered to test. The low light capabilities is amazing as with the K1, however the new dynamic pixel shift (essentially image stacking, but handheld) allows you to perhaps shoot at a higher ISO, but because it stacks the images, you reduce noise in the overall image, allowing you to shoot slightly faster at lowlight and retain more detail. It is not the same as pixelshift which requires a tripod (for obvious reasons).I love the camera. I'm happy I bought it and I would urge anyone who shoots pentax to consider it. The Auto focus alone made it worth it for me.I can't compare it to the old K1 as I don't own it.

Full frame and full of features, fun and frustration
A great buy and upgrade. Vastly superior to my old K70. Having to learn all about the camera and rethink my shots as the extra detail changes the picture (for the better). Want to try night features when weather improves. Remember lenses are or can be expensive to replace or upgrade!
