This lantern delivers and the description fits it's performance. The brightest setting puts out a lot of light. It's lightweight and easy to carry or hang if needed. The battery charging options are very handy when not near a power source. Definitely worth the price. I've given several as gifts and each time the recipient loves it.

Nice and big, and bright. In fact, mine arrived in packaging advertising 3,000 lumens, so it is actually a thousand lumens brighter than its Amazon page claims. I don't know if there is a new model, if that is the reason, buy I was pleasantly surprised when I found out. Also, the battery is 4400 mWh according to the box, so if you intend to use this lantern to charge other things, it's got a pretty decent battery as well. You can even flip up the solar panel, set a phone down on top of it and charge wirelessly. Overall, I am very impressed, and I haven't even bothered to get any D-cell batteries for mine yet.

Lightweight and gives off a tremendous amount of light. Also has various brightness settings. I have a Maglight that is good for spot applications but this lantern will easily light up a room. Great for those occasions where the power goes out. I love that it will recharge via solar or USB. Even works on D cell batteries. I wish I had this when camping years ago. Much better and safer than my old Coleman Lantern which I still have. Fits nicely on a shelf in my kitchen area (see picture) My daughter purchased one and I just had to get one for myself.

Very nice. A rechargeable battery for use when there is no power in the house or outside. You really need this.

Great light to use for emergency power outages, camping or evening patio entertainment. I really like that the brightness is adjustable from dim to bright light, depending on use and mood. Very well constructed, too.

Excellent design. Lantern is just what I needed. I have not had the opportunity to use it in an emergency situation yet, but I feel more confident about my preparations now.

Bought to use when camping. We keep in our trailer. When we set up camp we put this out in the sun to charge and always charges quickly and we have plenty of light for the night and more if needed.

Fantastic strong light (dimmable) and no chance of it running out of power. I used it camping this weekend but found it difficult to find the On Button during the middle of the night. When I got home I glued a rubber knob onto the Start button so I could FEEL where the button was. That works a treat. I wish the manufacturer would correct this only flaw and raise the button so it can be felt when blind.

Excellent lantern. I just purchased a second one after many years with the original...and it still works great! Three ways to hold a charge...excellent for camping.
