I didn’t expect to love this book so much! Kira thinks she’s buying a quiet farmhouse... only to find herself the owner of a rundown Christmas tree farm in a quirky little town. What follows is a heartfelt, funny, and surprisingly deep journey of self-discovery, new beginnings, and a romance that slowly sneaks up on you.Even off-season, this book felt like comfort food — full of charm, wit, and warmth. The characters felt real, the town felt like home, and the writing made me smile more than once. Laurie Gilmore, you’ve gained a new fan!

The 'spice' level was a bit much. Basically a Hallmark movie with explicit intimacy. That did not sync for me hence the 4 stars.The plot, atmosphere and characters however get an easy 5 for a Christmas romance. Kira and Bennet's characters evolve right and the book is sprinkled with some really sweet scenes.This is my first Dream Harbour book but I will definitely check out the rest too.

Its a part of the Dream Harbor seriesKira North a rich spoilt brat who has never had gratitude for the privileges she had in her life ends up owning a Christmas Tree Farm far far away from her parents just to prove that she is reliable and capable to achieve something meaningful without any help.Bennett Ellis who has a tendency of helping people is on vacation in the town visiting his adorable sister Jenney the owner of Pumpkin Spice Cafe.. ♥️♥️It’s Christmas and the magic is sparkling in the air when these two dejected souls meet and sparks fly in all directions.. 🎄🎄I loved how these two characters have matured in the story.. they meet, the story doesn’t rush and they eventually explore their relationship, open up to each other and not to mention the spice which keeps the romance reader blushing through out.. 🥰🥰. I also loved how these two characters managed to learn from their past mistakes and believed in their decisions. The ending is not rushed and gives the storyline the perfect amount of depth.Add this to your holiday reads and make it more sparkly 🎄🎄♥️♥️🎄🎄.Hope my Bookstagram fam had the perfect Christmas.. 🎅 🎄♥️

She’s fierce, no-nonsense, and doesn’t let anyone walk all over her — exactly the kind of heroine I love. Bennett is great too, but if I’m being honest… Noah still owns my heart.Compared to the earlier books, this one spends less time on the town's side characters, and honestly? That shift worked in the book’s favor. The focus on the romance felt stronger, and the Christmas tree farm setting? Pure holiday movie magic. I could practically hear sleigh bells and smell hot cocoa while reading.I also loved Iris, and I’m so excited that the next book will be hers! She’s fun, fierce, and has just the right kind of chaos to keep things interesting.Final thoughts?If you’re in the mood for a steamy, feel-good holiday romance with just the right mix of heart, humor, and festive charm — this one's a perfect December binge. It left me smiling, and honestly? I’d happily revisit this cozy little world again.

There is a difference between grinch persona and being an unlikeable character and sadly for me Kira kind of fell in the later group for me. I just felt the book was cliched at a lot of places due to its tropes but I still enjoyed it like greasy food after a drunken night.
