⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Powerful Energy Monitoring with Flexible Connectivity
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Powerful Energy Monitoring with Flexible ConnectivityThe Shelly Pro 3EM (120A) has been an excellent addition to my setup. I really like how it provides accurate, real-time monitoring across three phases, making it easy to keep track of power usage and efficiency. The data it provides is detailed, reliable, and gives me a much better understanding of where energy is being used.Another huge plus is the dual connectivity—both Wi-Fi and LAN options. Having the ability to hardwire it makes the connection extremely stable, while Wi-Fi keeps it flexible if hardwiring isn’t convenient. Setup was straightforward, and the integration with my system worked smoothly.Overall, the build feels professional-grade, the monitoring is precise, and I’m impressed with how easy it is to access and analyze the data. If you’re serious about energy management, the Shelly Pro 3EM is a great choice.

Pro level current meter at a bargain price!
Fantastic current meter! The bonus is built in Ethernet! Small size will fit in tight spaces and easy install.Great function, except for some reason data download is not working right. There is also connection point for 1 more CT, but last I checked it is not sold separately. AND I wish there was short piece of DIN rail in box.

Great product for keeping your power company honest
This device is great for keeping track of the quality of your power. We were having brownouts and electrical appliances behaving oddly. Suspected there was too much variation in the voltage but couldn't verify it so we had this device installed and it showed one phase running noticeably lower than the other and more importantly it dropped outside the allowed specification for 115V power in the US on several occasions and could be easily seen from the built in webserver.

Great for consumption monitoring
I used this to pair with my solar installation. I found some open source software that I modified to emulate a Fronius Smart Meter so it polls this Shelly Pro 3EM to get total consumption and that data is stored alongside my production data. It was very easy to install, and the API/etc was very easy to work with to get the data I needed. I was impressed.

Split Core cable length is only 27"
Be aware that the cable on the split core transformers is only 27" long. I called Shelly North America before I placed my order and they said the length was 1.5M or 4'11" - which clearly isn't the actual length. I called Shelly again to see if maybe I ordered the wrong SKU and the agent confidently said the length was 1.5M. I told him that mine measured about 24" - he said that wasn't correct. I told him that I measured the transformers that came in the box. He then opened a box and measured himself, stating that the cable is "actually 27" long." I mentioned that I purchased the product based on the measurement of 1.5m that Shelly communicated and asked if they had extension cables. He said they do not as they are calibrated to the 27" length. I suggested that they update their documentation to accurately reflect the actual cable length. Shelly should offer longer cables in North America as panels typically don't have din rails, so you must install the energy meter in a separate box. With a cable length of only 27" that is basically impossible.
