This was an excellent choice. I measured the old winch and matched it's dimensions with this winch. It mounted very easily. It looks good and appears to be well built. It pulls my 16' Smokercraft out with absolutely no problems. The strap is the perfect length for my boat and easily strong enough to handle my boat.

Perfect for a retractable crane I made to safely get tires and other awkward items up into my shed's loft. It was a little annoying that the entire mechanism had to come apart to get to the bolt holes but for the price still worth 5 stars.

Nice winch function as well double settings

Does not work well. The spring doesn't fully engage and allows the winch to free-wheel in any position.

It is on the cheaper side so you really can't expect much but for another 10 bucks you can get a better quality design...it's been working so far but only time will tell how well the latch assembly will last seams kinda cheap compared to the other ones I have

Teeth stripped out with a 300# load..spend the extra 20.00! Get a good one!
