Dark Souls The Card Game: Core Game

BF loved this present. Packaged fine. I've never played Dark Souls but still had fun playing this together. Game gets quicker the more you play once you know the rules, like any game I guess.

The already fun base game is very well complimented by this great expansion. Highly recommend!!

Took a while to read the rules at first but a really good game and collectors piece. I would recommend to any dark souls fan.

Good game, ish, despite the arguments it caused and just how long it took us to actually understand whats going on. Big fan of souls games, and this game does capture the feel of darksouls well, i was prepared to die, and i did. The issue with this is the rules are garbage, it tells you how tyo set up but not in detal. it tewlls ytou how to attack and take damage, but fails to mention a lot of the things that would clarify issues that can come up like when certain actions can be taken, if turns remain static, how many actions a player can take within their turn... in short the Provided rules are crap. IF you're interested in the playing just skip reading them and google a how to play video, even the forums cant give solid answers to some of the questions. The guide is pretty much only any good to show you the positioning of set up, and even then doesn't do a good job, have it on hand but if you want to start playing and actually have a good time, watch a lets play first. The Cards and tokens ETC all look great, its a really well made and lovely looking game. Just dont rely on being able to understand it with only what's in the

A great game, keeps the theme of the computer games and is quick to set up and tear down. Cards are a little thinner than I prefer, but b will sleeve anyway so not a huge negative

Fun. Very well put together. Flows lovely. Nice difficulty. And reflects the game well. Great combat and reward system. Takes around just over and hour 4 players after set up

The book it comes with is hard to follow past the board set-up. We needed a youtube video to learn how to play the game. Takes forever to set up and learn but once you do it's very fun, and it's made very well!

compre el juego de cartas porque soy fan de los videojuegos del mismo nombre y puedo decir que el juego de cartas respeta muy bien la esencia del videojuego, el juego al venir en su totalidad en ingles puede parecer desafiante pero la verdad es que con un ingles básico y el traductor para las palabras difíciles hasta un niño podría entenderlo, y si no es el caso hay varios tutoriales en YouTube asi que por ese lado no hay pierde, lo jugué un par de veces con familiares que no tienen ni idea del videojuego y es divertido tanto para los que no conocen el videojuego como para los mas fans e incluso se presta para inventar algunas reglas caseras y hacerlo mas accesible, los materiales son excelentes, las ilustraciones hermosas y el gameplay variado, el juego esta basado mas en el contenido de Dark souls 3 y tiene de jefes finales a "Vordt del Valle Boreal", "Pontífice Sulyvahn", "Supremo Señor Wolnir" y a "Los Vigilantes del Abismo" el producto llego en excelente estado y a los dos días de que lo pedí

Muy buen juego, ideal para los amantes de la saga. Tiene un buen modo solitario, muy entretenido y con un set up rápido de montar. Las cartas son de buena calidad aunque recomiendo enfundarlas (tamaño estándar), aunque sí digo que si te haces con el juego base y las dos expansiones tendrás más de 800 cartas.

While I've never played the Dark Souls video games or board game, I love the gothic artwork and story premise, so purchased this card game. I have played Bloodborne Board Game and was familiar with some of this games concepts regarding resting at the Bonfire in order to secure earned goods from winning battles. The high points of this game are the variety of battles, upgrading your deck by purchasing higher quality stamina cards, and facing the big bosses who take awhile to kill. I played a two player game which last about 60 minutes, and a 4 player game which lasted about 90 minutes. This game is fun and goes by quickly. Alot of creative thought went into making these big bosses unique and difficult to defeat. I really like the game, think it's definitely worth the price paid, and would love to buy an expansion if I can find them at reasonable prices. Con: My only con to the game was that the backs of the cards are not easier to separate and recognize, so I was confused when learning the game. This could have easily been fixed by adding different colors to separate Treasure cards from Transposed Treasure Cards, Levels I, II, III Enemy Cards and Player Decks. If you're unfamiliar with how this game looks and works, just pay attention closely to subtle icon differences on the back of cards, and of the little blue dots beside the treasure icon on front of the Transposed Treasure Cards.

Ich bin äußerst Zufrieden. Als Dark Souls-Fan sehr schön zu erleben. Lässt such super auch Solo spielen und macht so tatsächlich viel Spaß. Nach erster Testrunde mit Freunden (keinerlei Kenntnisse über Dark Souls) hatten auch sie jede Menge Freude und Spaß. Der Inhalt ist wirklich super, man kann sich daran erstmal eine Weile austoben, ergänzend gibt es auch zwei Addons die von allem (Charaktere, Ausrüstung, Bosse jnd Gegner) mehr hinzufügen und auch neue Spielmechaniken mit sich bringen. Die Karten an sich sind ganz in Ordnung, empfehle aber diese in Hüllen zu stecken. Grund : Man mischt die Karten sehr oft, zählt sie durch und darum nutzen sie sich doch relativ schnell ab an den Kanten Das Spiel an sich hat einen Soulstypischen hohen Schwierigkeitsgrad ohne jedoch frustig zu werden.
