Seems very fair for the price. Worked to get a radial arm saw back in operation. Time will tell how well they hold up. Now I have enough extra brushes I probably will never have to purchase anymore ever.

According to the information on the Amazon Website, there was a carbon brush in this set that was pretty close in size for my Skil 6225 corded drill The brushes come in a plastic case that has compartments labeled clearly with their dimensions. I used 150 grit sandpaper on a flat piece of wood to slowly sand the brush to the correct dimensions. The last challenge was: how to connect this new brush to the original brush holder, as the original plastic brush holder holds a metal connector that had a soldered wire connecting it to the carbon brush. The original brush holder is a plastic housing that holds the metal connector. This metal connector is soldered to the brush wire, which is then connected to the carbon brush. This wire is surrounded by a small spring. I cut the original brush wire at the metal connector end. (DO NOT cut the wire that comes from the drill switch and connects to the metal connector in the brush holder). Then, I flattened that plate with a pair of needle nose pliers, creating a relatively flat, rectangular metal surface. The new brush has a wire soldered to a circular metal plate, and this metal plate conveniently fits in the rectangular area of the original brush metal connector. I did not solder the two together, and simply let the spring apply pressure to both surfaces. At that point, I slid the new brush into the plastic brush holder, connected the wire coming from the drill switch to the metal plate on the brush holder, and put the drill back together. Drill brush replacement success! The brush set contains various brushes of different sizes, and I have several other tools that need brush replacements, with brushes of similar sizes. I'll have to sand them down to the OEM brush size as well. Sorry, I should have taken pictures to better explain the process,

Work great, three sizes springs and multiple sizes carbon brushes for just about any tool and application out there, Can be easily filed or sanded to fit of needed too~ Good price too.
