The new 4 and a half year old owner is delighted with the product. It took him about 45 seconds to master the transformation of the toy without the benefit of the instructions.

I don't understand what is up with these Mattel Mecard toys...I've ordered 8 of these transforming cars from a variety of sellers and 5 of them have been delivered with poor packaging (the product package backing coming off). I don't know if it is a defect with the toy packaging itself or the package had previously been opened and returned. Luckily, my son doesn't care about the packaging - we just want to make sure the toy works, the faction sticker has been untouched and the cards are intact. We have generally been happy with the product itself, very cool transforming cars. 5 stars for the toy. Minus stars for the packaging.This particular toy was received in a plastic bag. The package backing was completely unsealed and the directions pamphlet was missing that details how to transform the car. The seller should list this product as "Used" instead of "New"! This is completely unacceptable for someone that is receiving this as a gift or keeping as a collectible.
