How long is the shelf life of an unopened bottle?

I honestly do not know, however I am using the fuel up very quickly. I use a half bottle each time which lasts about 1-1/2 hours.

Can i use for s'mores on a table fire pit. Is it smoke free

It's a chemical fire so I would not use it for s'mores. It is smoke free but I wouldn't think the chemicals in the fuel would be healthy to eat.
