Although my pool has a screen cage, the water draws mosquitoes, and the homebuilder "assumed" that screens would not be needed on the doors and windows opening into the cage... Not so, therefore, I purchased the 62" x 81" Fitlife Magnetic Door Screen for the French doors opening onto the pool, and 10" Louvered screens for the bathroom, and several 18" Adjustable Window screens for the living and breakfast rooms.. all of which open onto the pool. The louvers work well over the tub for privacy and removal of steam, but one does not get a "breeze" from them. Thermwell Products AWS1207 10x21-37 Louver... The 18" screens are marvelous, enabling cross ventilation without insect/mosquito invasion. Frost King WB Marvin AWS1837 Adjustable Window... Let's be clear: these things are JUNK. I ordered three, and the screen part separated from the wood on all of them within a few uses. The wood on one has split on the bottom now after a few months. With that said, they're $7 each, extremely cheap, especially if you need to buy more than one, and they do they job. They fit all of my windows fairly securely and I don't worry about my cat accidentally jumping out. With the gaps in the screen and wood frame, I have to readjust the screen to not leave any huge holes where it came loose, but they do allow me to open my windows and provide coverage for all but those few gaps. For $7 I'm happy enough. The feeling of fresh air blowing through my house is worth it.

I have three of these screens and use them in three of our upstairs rooms. No more worries about replacing our old screens. These slide into the windowsills flawlessly and the extra air circulation is amazing.

For the price they are well worth the money. I purchased these to reinforce the screens I currently have on the windows. I have cats and they enjoy nothing more than watching out the windows. That also includes going after any bugs that may be near and that means the screens may get small tears. I've been here 20 years with no trouble with any cat but the last few months my daughters cat has been here and she decided to take a tiny hole and pushed her entire body through and escaped outside. To have the screen repaired professionally was 20. This along with home screen repair was 10. I decided to purchase one for each window the cats gather at just in case. They fit in nicely and it would take more than just my cats leaning against them to knock them out. The screen material seems very strong and is much stronger then the material that was in my own screens.

These are the perfect solution for damaged screens or windows that don't have a screen. I went to the local big box home improvement store and asked for help. I was greeted with the usual lackluster, half-hearted response that "you can just make your own, and I have never heard of that". Then I walked down the aisle and there were two boxes of these screen...both empty. Now it is true you could make your own but for 12 dollars is it worth it? I say in this situation no, and I also say no to the employee an the awful customer service of the the store and just buy from amazon. Item arrived quick and worked perfectly. My only complaint is that the piece of paper on the screen which has the upc, and product description is attached to the inside of the screen and wood meeting place. I didn't realize this the first time and if you pull to hard on the paper to remove it; it will rip part of the screen mesh out of the wooden frame. It is easy to push back in but this really should happen with just a non-essential piece of paper. It should have been wrapped on the outside or just a sticker. But, this was only a mild inconvenience, having 30 year old windows now functional with screens was well worth the small cost. Not to mention it is far less expensive then replacing all our out-dated windows. Well worth the price and connivence. 4 Stars!

The height and length are perfect; what is not perfect is it very flimsy and the mesh pulls apart easily if you apply pressure on the edges...so, I would recommend to glue them further using GOOP ...my option as it is a sturdy glue.... and I did both sides, and inside and outside just inside the frame...a little extra work but now, I don't have to worry about my cats nudging the screens or any hands (only adults in our home....I PERSONALLY WOULD NOT USE THESE SCREENS WITH CHILDREN UNDER 7 YEARS...the screen gives way too easily)....I have little great nephews/nieces and believe me the windows would be shut closed and locked....no one needs any heartache of scares or injuries...please examine the screens before installing to see if needs a little extra reinforcements...it's a great concept and has made my summer amazing...I just wish they would make it extra secure...I would even pay more for that...just saying.

Bought many for the several windows. They last but the mechanism needs improvements

It was very easy to adjust, but I bought the wrong size. Also some tiny parts in the screen had some tiny holes when shipped.

It's a screen and does what a screen should. It doesn't close back up very well and seems rather flimsy and weak. I fear I'll have to replace it in short order simply because it's designed to tear itself apart.

Highly recommend purchasing wire mesh screens. They fully exceeded my expectations. I needed something in my window that we keep my cats from getting outside when I opened them up for some fresh air. My cats would tear through vinyl screens and would jump out the window to escape. These screens have solved this issue and deterred my cats from getting out any longer.
