The Head Strap is great but there could be buzzing on the battery.
Update 05/27/24: I was contacted by the company about my issues. They quickly tried to resolve my issue and sent me the updated back plate. I have now updated my review to add that the customer service has been excellent. I have no issues recommending this product and this company. They were extremely helpful with all my issues. I definitely recommend you trying the head strap and I think it is better than the BoboVR head strap, especially for the price. Original Review: I really like the Q3 Pro Head strap and it is very comfortable. There are a lot of adjustments that you can make with the head strap for a better fit on your head. The stock head strap was putting pressure on my face and made it uncomfortable after a short time. With the new head strap I can wear it for much longer without it hurting my face. I really like the head strap but there are 2 issues that I have. 1) Since the head strap is quite sturdy and attaches a battery it does make the head strap heavy. It is not too bad because the weight is mostly balanced so you can adjust it to be more comfortable. 2) The bigger issues is the battery buzzing sound. It can get quite loud and annoying. I have read in another review that KKCOBVR, sent them another backplate with a new wire that helps with the issue, but I do not have that new backplate. I’m not sure how to contact the company and if I am able to test the new backplate, I may come back to update this review. But at least currently my battery buzzes and it can get quite loud.

Comfortable and long lasting
This is one of the go tos I would easily recommend for any quest 3 headset. The stock strap is meh. It would wiggle on my head, there was a lot of facial pressure. This guy helps distribute wait and you can adjust the tightness better. So it can be snug without feeling like it’s crushing my face. Not to mention the battery pack gives you like an extra two hours. Love this thing.

Great fit, long lasting battery, no buzz!
So overall this is a nice headset. Is very comfortable, and very flexible in terms of how you want it positioned. I especially love the front knobs where you can move the headset closer or farther from your face. Also works with AMZR facial interface. Battery keeps my headset pretty much full the entire time and I gives multiple hours more playtime. Now here is important part, you may get buzzing sound from battery area. I can confirm that is NOT the batteries making the buzzing. If you do get buzzing.....contact kkcobvr and tell them about it. They immediately sent me a new updated rear magnetic back plate. I included pictures of it. The new one has new attachment on the new wire and it's longer. This upgrade has eliminated all the buzzing I was getting before. So hopefully that helps you guys out. If you have this headset and your wire is not like the one I posted, you have the old one and it will probably buzz.

Great strap
I have been using this for a couple months now, and it is a massive improvement over the stock Quest 3 strap. Combined with a separate facial interface it's quite comfortable, and the price is affordable compared to other battery straps. It isn't perfect, but it's still great and easy to recommend. PROS: comfortable (even for long play sessions), easy to adjust, fairly customizable, the included battery pretty much doubles how long you can use the headset between charges, solid price CONS: quality could be better (I know the price is fairly low and the quality isn't HORRIBLE but it's a bit cheap in places, especially the "joints" and other small parts), clunky battery utilization The issues with the battery have already been noted in other reviews, but basically if you want to charge the headset and the battery at the same time, you have to first charge the battery, then place the battery on the headset. But for some reason that doesn't seem to be 100% consistent - on several occasions I thought the headset was charging, but only the battery was. You have to wait for both the battery and the headset to display their charging lights in order to confirm that both are charging, but I don't see why the process has to be so convoluted and inconsistent. Additionally, if your headset is charged above 80%, the battery will continuously make a loud beeping noise. This is easily remedied by taking off the battery pack until you need it, but again, it's a strange inconsistency that makes using the headset more clunky than it needs to be. Overall this strap does have its quirks and drawbacks, but it's still an excellent product that I can highly recommend. It's comfortable and affordable and significantly improves the Quest 3 experience.

Battery dud after one use (Edit: but new one sent). Strap itself is great.
Edit: Since this post the manufacturer has sent me a new battery and I upped my review to five stars. I am pleased. Original post: Head strap fits nicely on my large noggin and takes pressure off of face where original Quest3 strap did. I love how the front can be adjusted to pull or push front from eyes ! It is comfortable even after a couple hours. Unfortunately, the battery only charged once. Now it will not respond to quest3 charging cable and indicator lights do not light up. Battery is a dud after one use. I have email into manufacturer and am hoping for replacement. I will update review as this unfolds. So far 3/5 because of battery failing.

better than other headsets.
Best head strap for the quest 3. The ability to flip the headset up out of your face without taking the strap of is great.

A Must Buy For Any Quest User
I LOVE IT, its a HUGEEEE step up from the strap the comes with the quest 3, i actually started watching movies in 3D when i got this because of how much i enjoy how comfortable this strap is. its super stable, aside from the back pillow or battery holder coming undone every now and again. i think my most important love of the headset comes from how evenly it distributes the weight of the quest, its a night and day difference from the quest squeezing on your face to hold on, to it taking all that weight off and having it sit above and behind your head instead. the battery is great, its able to not just hold the battery level steady but actually charge the headset too.

This is a very good battery headstrap for Quest 3. It has the newer style battery which is rated at 15w input and output, although I found it's closer to 12w in practice. This isn't an issue as Quest 3 generally uses about 12w or less, maybe 13w in demanding games. I tested it playing a variety of games, watching YouTube, and mostly PCVR wireless at 90fps and high bitrate, which is fairly demanding due to video decoding, streaming and the high refresh rate, and in total the battery lasted exactly 3 hours while the headset battery dropped from 85% to 82% so it gives just enough juice to not drain the Quest battery. Charging took nearly 4 hours, however using a different charger may have sped it up (one of my other chargers made the battery squeal, and it was reading 15w, but using the Quest charger and cable didn't squeal). There is no battery buzz or sound that I could hear, which seems to have been a common issue, but it appears they have fixed this with the new battery. You can also use the battery pack as a regular power bank, just plug your phone into it and press the on button. Seems a true 10,000 mah capacity and it will fast charge your phone at around 13w. As for the halo style strap I found it pretty comfortable. It's obviously not going to feel like you have nothing on your head since the whole setup with quest 3 is 970g, not much less than a motorcycle helmet! But it does feel pretty evenly balanced and with the centre strap you can alleviate some pressure from the halo part. It's also very adjustable, you can set the height and forward/back of the headset, you can even flick the whole headset fully up, although it doesn't really work with the standard Quest 3 facial interface as it's too large. That up and down action was very stiff out the box but you can easily loosen it with the 3 screws either side, under the padding. A quarter turn on each screw was about right for me. The forward backward dials click in one direction and not the other, it feels fine to use and is a useful feature that most straps don't have. The clicking isn't too loud. The rear dial feels good quality, I thought it would be tricky to use with the battery obscuring part of it but in reality it's fine. Much better feel to it than my cheapo strap's dial. The padding is very soft, and is removable with a velcro material. The rear pad has some tilt adjustment so it moulds to your head. Some had said the halo part is quite narrow but I have a medium size head - medium motorcycle helmet size - and it fits perfectly for me. Quality-wise it feels great. No creaks whatsoever and it feels well made. I have a cheap halo strap that is creaky and noisy but this KKCOBVR is night and day better. The battery sticks via magnets very nicely and feels secure. It's not percently balanced so there is a little forward tilt when you hold the strap at the top, but definitely better than having no rear battery. My only issue so far is that the battery charges the Quest even when I don't turn it on, and sometimes I don't want it to charge (I like to keep the quest around 80% to preserve battery health) so I sometimes have to unplug it or remove the battery. No biggie though. Overall impressive value for money. I'll probably use the battery as a power bank since it's quite compact and only 181g, whereas my other 10,000mah pack is 224g. A nice bonus. Definitely recommend this headset.

Un producto que para mí es de 10, la batería dura bastante y es muy cómodo todo, es cierto que con la batería pesa, pero funciona perfectamente.

This thread strap is amazing. Very comfortable for long play, the battery allowed me to play additional 2 hours. I also purchased the facial interface, the combo just works amazing.
