Purchased this for camping with our horses rather than bucketing water we left this on the back of our pickup and used a short hose to fill. Worked great!

This is not a water tank. It is a cheaply molded plastic liability being sold under a wall of misleading buzzwords. From the moment it’s handled, it’s obvious this product was designed to look acceptable in photos and nowhere else. The plastic is thin, hollow-feeling, and alarmingly flexible. Once filled, it visibly warps and bows, directly contradicting the claim that it is “not easily deformed.” Any container that deforms under its intended use has already failed. The so-called “food grade” claim is especially concerning. There is no certification, no standards listed, no markings, and no documentation of any kind. For a product advertised for drinking water, emergency storage, schools, homes, and hotels, this absence is unacceptable and irresponsible. No reasonable person should trust this with potable water. The faucet is a joke. Poorly fitted, flimsy, and clearly sourced from the cheapest possible supplier. It feels like it will crack or leak with minimal use. This is not “daily use” equipment—this is disposable plastic pretending to be functional hardware. The product description is pure filler: vague, repetitive, and clearly machine-translated. It substitutes measurable facts with meaningless phrases like “good toughness” and “easy to clean” while avoiding anything that would hold the seller accountable—such as wall thickness, pressure tolerance, certifications, or quality standards. What’s being sold here is not quality—it’s misrepresentation. This product has no place being marketed as durable, safe, or suitable for drinking water. It is not fit for emergency use, long-term storage, or any application where failure would matter. The price only adds insult to injury. I strongly recommend buyers avoid this entirely and purchase from a seller who provides real specifications, real certifications, and real quality control. If the seller chooses to resolve this properly with a full refund, I am open to updating this review to reflect that outcome. Until then, this review stands as an accurate warning.

First up, attempting to remove the tank from the box, cut my finger on a sharp hanging plastic shard that was sticking up. Tank is unusable as a water dispenser out of the box. The included valve will not thread onto the tank spigot threads because of poor quality control plastic seams (see pics). The left half/right half of the tank is press molded together and the seam runs directly through the middle of the spigot threads, fouling them with plastic mold squeeze out. Dumb design. You would need to dremel off the excess plastic, then have the proper thread pitch tap to smooth it all out. I paid $200+ for this tank, I’m not a fan of buying myself work. Poor quality control on nearly all the plastic pieces. Shards/mold squeeze out everywhere. Again, this ain’t my job to fix. It’s the Seller’s. Scuff marks on bottom says to me this may have been used before or treated roughly on the factory floor. Plus, there was a pea-sized stone/piece of debris inside the tank when it arrived! Just what everyone expects, right? Dirt in their brand new water tank. There are many American made tanks online, for cheaper than this chinese made one. How do I know it’s chinese? They bothered to emboss chinese letters all over the lid. Why, I’m not sure. Without any hesitation, I am returning this one. I made sure the little stone/debris got sent back too.
