Best if used by date is 2 years. Assume this is not refrigerated. We finished our last purchase (3 five pound bags) at almost 3½ years, still good, but we kept them in a refrigerator,

Can i take a few berries and plant them?

Yes, you can, if you are looking to grow them please reach out to customerservice@palousebrand.com as they are not all spring wheat so you will have to plant some varieties in the winter.

What type of fertilizer is used to grow these?

No idea since it is touted to be highest quality of beans I would think it would be a good one
