It’s small and not going to make a big path when your out walking, looking for critters, but if you want to look closely at something like a terrarium or get close to the ground, it works.I found spiders that glow one color but are brown with my phone flashlight. The sun damage on my face is far more extensive than I can see in the bathroom light but this light shows it. Be very careful not to shine this in your eyes. In fact, maybe don’t try that unless someone else can do it for you and take pictures.It’s small enough to go in a pocket. I don’t like that the lens sticks out a little past the body. It seems like it’ll get scratched. But it also won’t sit flat with the light pointed down. I believe this is still worth the price though.

Product was defective, cost almost as much to return as the original price with are local UPS store printing return labels and packaging. So I ended up paying for two lights to get one good one. Should of disposed of the defective one and forget the return. Seller did quick ship a new one that worked.
