NOBS (No Bad Stuff) Expanding Dental Floss - Nigella Sativa, Eucalyptus, Cruelty-Free, Sustainable Packaging

Best floss I’ve ever used and I’ve tried most of them. Recent dental cleaning inspired raves from hygienist abt the state of my gums and teeth . Seems to grab all the yuck off teeth. A tad expensive but worth it.

I'm used to flossing daily, but for years my gums would still bleed every time I went to the dentist. A year ago, I had a different hygienist who recommended expanding floss. She said the glide floss I was using was probably causing microabrasions, hence the easy bleeding. So I switched, and by my next cleaning, the bleeding had completely stopped. This has become my favorite floss. I have teeth that are tight, and this easily gets between and pulls out all of the gunk. I like that it's biodegradable and there is no plastic waste or microplastics being ingested when using this floss. I like their nobs toothpaste too. My biggest gripe is that the company doesn't sell refills on Amazon and shipping on their site is $7 (I don't know if there's a minimum purchase for free shipping, it might be $50 but it still shows a shipping fee) Also, 1 refill is $8 so with the price of shipping, I'm paying more for a refill than a new one here for $10... unless I buy 4(?) or more refills at a time. I will 100% lose the extra refills, so that's a no-go for me. Please sell refills of your floss and nobs on Amazon, thanks!

This is the best floss I have ever tried, and I'm an avid flosser. I have forced it upon my friends, family and acquaintances because I don't want them to live without it, I don't care how crazy that makes me look. At risk of being gross, you can see it scrubbing plaque off your teeth as you go. I've flossed with the Silk product after brushing and using a more common waxed floss and it was still doing heavy work cleaning my teeth without damaging my gums. My teeth have never felt so smooth and my mouth feels fresh without any burning mouthwash or peppermint turned up too loud. Key points, I guess: - I found it while looking for a product without PFAS but it works so well that mitigating my risk of dementia is just a bonus. - It works amazingly with the caveat that it will sometimes shred. I keep a stiff dental threader around for those moments and it's fine, but someone with braces or elaborate dental work might have more trouble. - I think the black and orange colors are really fun, I hope they never change them. - The flavor or scent is very mild, I can't say I have ever noticed it until looking at the item's description right now.

VERY HIGH QUALITY EASIER TO USE THAN DRUG STORE PRODUCTS ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY NO PLASTICS AS NATURE INTENDED The floss is housed in a glass vial with a metal insert that cuts the string for you. The cap is metal with a foam seal that keeps the string fresh. You can smell the oil on the string and it pulls a lot of gunk out with 0 pain or irritation (I have very sensitive inflamed gums too). Great product 👍 5 stars will be purchasing more for the glass vial alone (I reuse).

I like that this floss is thick but soft, so it cleans effectively without cutting or damaging my gums. I do feel like the floss does a really good job of cleaning between my teeth and gums. It has a bit of an off-putting smell from the black seed oil, but not so much that it deters me from using it. The main downside for me personally, is that because of the price, I tend to find myself skimping on how much I use, which makes flossing more difficult. That said, I'm trying to use a normal amount of floss for now to see how long the container lasts, so that I can assess how quickly I go through it and whether or not it's feasible to continue using in the future.

This floss works well and is in a nice package. However, I thought I was ordering silk floss because it is called “Silk” and the product description headline states that it is "Silk Expanding Dental Floss." I learned after purchasing it that it is actually made of recycled polyester! For those of us who prefer silk floss, and who even searched on Amazon for silk floss, as I did, the product description is deceptive -- at best. Also, no refills are available on Amazon, and that makes this product very expensive in the long run, especially considering it is made from … recycled polyester. Yuck.

I actually really love this floss. I feel like it does a better job at removing plaque than a thinner floss. I will definitely buy again.

This does get things from between the teeth, but it falls apart and then you have strings caught between the teeth. They are too thin to grab and then you have to use other floss to get them out.
