I was looking for something like this for years to increase the height under my electric hoist. This bolted right on with minimal hassle. It seems to be made to hold much more weight than the hoist can possibly handle.I gained about 5 inches of headroom with this device; well worth the price.

Heavy duty! Easy to adjust and works perfectly.

It works fine, the only thing is that it should have guides on both sides, not only on one side. Tends to till when loaded.

The media could not be loaded. We have a balcony where we place plants and trees in the Spring and Summer. Prior to getting this hoist we used a manual block and tackle to lift or lower the plants. It was becoming extremely difficult to continue in this manner as the trees grew bigger and we grew older. The remote control is a great feature and the hoist was easily fitted onto an aluminum IBeam which we fitted with stops. Great price for a giant helping hand!

Solid built out of steel which is what was expected. No issues found with the manufacturing or other.

Works great I mounted the harbor freight electric hoist to it

Packing was abysmal. Light weight cardboard box with no interior packaging to keep parts from rattling around like a BB in a boxcar.The box looked like a porcupine with parts protruding through the box.The upshot was the loss of one of the long bolt assemblies somewhere along the delivery route.
