Easy and cool tool
This device worked exactly as described. Only problem I had was that the first few rounds broke up so much sediment that it clogged my hose. I thought the device was not working right. Once I realized and cleared the hose, everything flushed great. I definitely recommend everyone use this sediment buster. Easy to use, no discernible smell, clears out everything, and was cool to watch and use.

Worth Every Penny!
This Sediment Buster is a must have when you drain your water heater - ESPECIALLY after having your well worked on! I just recently had my well worked on and it caused all sorts of water clarity problems due to the turbulence the work created. After two weeks of "waiting" for the water to totally clear up I tackled the task of draining my water heater. I could not believe how much crud had settled there - in fact when I first opened the valve a glob of mud came out and then clogged! Luckily I had my Sediment Buster attached and a quick spurt of compressed air and the water was draining again! I kept using my air compressor periodically during the entire draining process. After refilling the tank is did a short drain and my water was all clear! The Sediment Buster worked perfectly. Some users say theirs leaked leak but the only water I noticed is where I expected it to happen - at the air valve when you remove the compressed air, because a little water is going to seep out when you remove the air connection before that valve closes again. I am thoroughly impressed and 100% pleased with the Sediment Buster and how easy it was to use and its durability. Well made and so easy to use.

Great Tool!
This Tool works great! Easy to follow instructions and seems very well made. Used once so far flushing my 3 year old hot water heater, and made the task very simple. I followed the instructions and cooled the water in the tank first, no drips from the fittings and the valve opened and closed smoothly. Really handy being able to see clearly what is coming out of the tank instead of having to use a bucket to determine whether or not the water is running clear. If there was anything I would change or add, it would be modifying the air stem/fitting, or adding some kind of check valve between that and your compressor to prevent water from backflowing into it. I was using an electric air pump, and between cycling the pump on and off a ton of water went into my air hoses back to the air pump. I had to blow out my lines afterwards to prevent any damage to the electric pump. For next year's use, I will definitely be adding an in-line check valve. Something the manufacturer should consider adding in this kit as well. Overall I highly recommend this tool, and flush your tanks! Good plumbers aren't getting any easier to find and hot water heaters aren't getting any cheaper to replace.

A Must-Have Tool for Water Heater Maintenance
I recently purchased the Sediment Buster Water Heater Cleaning and Flushing Tool, and I have to say, it’s been a game-changer for maintaining my water heater. After using it, I can confidently say this tool is worth every penny. Here’s my experience: Performance The Sediment Buster works exactly as advertised. The air injection process is incredibly effective at breaking up and flushing out sediment from the bottom of the tank. I could actually see the sediment being removed through the clear window, which was super satisfying! After using it, I noticed an immediate improvement in my water pressure and how quickly my water heats up. Ease of Use I was a little nervous about using it at first, but it turned out to be really simple to set up. The instructions were clear, and there are even video tutorials available if you need extra help. I used a basic air pump with it, and everything worked perfectly. It’s also great that I didn’t need any extra tools or complicated equipment to get the job done. Build Quality The tool feels sturdy and well-made. The ABS plastic construction seems durable enough to last through multiple uses. That said, I did notice a tiny bit of leakage at the connection point during use. I think this was because of the washer provided—it wasn’t sealing as tightly as I’d like. Swapping it out for a better-quality washer solved the problem completely. Value for Money At $39.99, this tool is an excellent investment. Not only does it help keep my water heater running efficiently, but it also saves me money in the long run by improving energy efficiency and extending the life of my tank. Plus, it’s way cheaper than hiring someone to do a professional flush! What I Loved It actually works! My water heater feels like new again. The see-through window lets you watch all the gunk being flushed out (weirdly satisfying). It’s easy to set up and use—no mess or fuss. It works with both gas and electric water heaters. What Could Be Better The washer that came with it wasn’t great—I recommend replacing it with a higher-quality one. If your tank has a lot of sediment buildup, it might take some extra time to get everything cleaned out. Final Thoughts Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s efficient, easy to use, and does exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for a way to maintain your water heater without spending a fortune on professional services, this tool is definitely worth trying out.

IT WORKS!
This product worked better than I could have imagined. I used this on my 8 year old water heater and was amazed by the amount of sediment that is removed. Very Easy to use. I probably spent a total of 20 minutes alternating draining with blasts of air from my compressor. This thing really works. My plan is to flush water water heater every year as part of my household maintenance. Pic- this is what came out of the tank. Probably enough to fill 1/2 of a 5 gallon bucket

Excellent tool. We had to use this to drain a few gallons of water from a heater to change the anode. Without it, would not be possible, the valve was clogged. You don't need high pressure from a compressor, we cleared the valve just using a tire inflator. Yes, you should be replacing your water heater anode every 7-8 years to prevent scale and tank corrosion.

Would be interesting to put a camera into the tank to see how much is being removed. Easy to use with a bicycle pump

So freaking easy to use! We tried emptying our 15 year old water heater for the first time. It just dripped. Bought this read the instructions, hooked up a floor pump and pew, the water flowed. Anytime the water started to slow down draining, a blast from the floor pump and off to the races again. It is very easy to use. Definitely a must for home owners.

Just used it and it worked well after a messy start because I didn't have the end of the drain hose tied down. Once held down everything went as per the video using a combo of cold water and air pressure from my compressor.
