We bought this for draining the kiddie pool that we bought for our grandkids. It is 10 feet across, so holds a lot of water, and we didn’t want to just dump it all in one spot. We hook this up to a garden hose, and we can move the hose around to trees and flowers, and thus use the water wisely. The sump pump is very quick and efficient, easy to use, and has good power. It is a good size for easy storage in the garage, and it’s not too heavy or bulky.

Great price on this pump and it's a work horse. We use it to pump water up a hill from a creek to our garden and we have enough pressure we could even hook up a sprinkler end if we wanted to.

This little thing is pretty powerful. I got the 1hp only because my pump/filter is 1hp and my ocd had to have them be the same. I sold my home and have 10days to move so I needed something that would drain my pool fast so I could disassemble and move it to my new home. So I ordered this. It got delivered at 4amish but the hose didnt get delivered until noon so I waited until the movers left at 145 to open it and have it in the pool by 2pm. Currently it is 530(3.5hr of pumping) and its pretty empty. It hasn't clogged, or shut off or anything and the pressure is pretty strong. I'm really glad I got this one. If I needed it to take water off a cover or something then I may have gotten a less hp one but it is perfect for what I needed. Functions great and is quiet too. Overall very happy. Another hr or 2 and the pool should be completely empty. Its also not very heavy which is a plus since I'm tired of lifting heavy things. 🤣

Hello, I just want to say what a great company Aquastrong is. I bought the 1hp sump pump for emergency use several months ago and just took it out of the box a few days ago. The pump works great and solved my problem quickly. But the handle broke during installation. I reported this to the company and they immediately offered to send me a new pump. This type of customer service is what makes a great company and product. I definitely recommend their products and I will buy from them again.Michael

This thing works great and as described. I set it to start about about 2" of water and placed in bucket under a water line leak. It auto shuts off as stated as well. Taking away the need to check every few hours to see if the bucket was full.I got this so that I didn't have to pay "weekend" or "emergency" rates for a plumber to come out. It ended up buying me enough time so that I was able to fix the leak myself. Very much worth the cost and paid for itself in my case.One thing to note is to use a firmer type garden hose. Those flexible light weight hoses might not work as it takes water pressure to open those things up. It worked on mine but worked much much better with a stiffer hose that held it's round shape and didn't kink as easy.

This worked really well. It emptied our hot tub in about an hour. It is small and relatively easy to use. It wasn't too loud either.
