Works Great!
This claw does what it does and does it well! Haven't bent or broken it yet like some others so fingers crossed! nice and heavy duty! no problems with alignment or assembly, just read what you're assembling and you'll do fine.

Practical, well designed product.
We live in an area that has sandy soil. This cuts right through the roots of small trees and tufts of grass/shrubs without issue. Really pleased with it and it comes with a replacement ripping tine! We hit a big root that would have caused the implement to bend but the shear bolt did its job and sheared and saved the implement. Well engineered. FYI, keep in mind that when any implement states 16" deep or such, that how far the implement drops and not the actual depth of cut. Depending on how low your tractor 3 point will drop dictates how deep you're going to be able to go with this. We have a larger tractor so we get a shallower trench due to the 3 point being higher off the ground. I would buy this product again, works really well.

Solid piece
This hitch mounted sub-soiler worked good for what I needed. So far it has minimal use and it worked as anticipated. I was able to borrow a tractor and 3 point hitch mount and was able to get to max depth and didn't stall the tractor. The sub-soiler did glide over some of the larger and deeper rocks. No roots in this area of small garden and I was able to get deeper than I could with a rear tine walk behind tiller. Consider getting another shear pin and keep it handy. It seems like a good alternative to the $1200 one piece units.

Works too well.
Very heavy duty. I connected it to my ATV’s 2 inch hitch during the first initial pull. I made it about 2 inches before it broke my 2 inch receiver completely off. Unfortunately, I had to return it due to no longer having a 2 inch receiver on my ATV. Highly recommend using a one (atv) or three point hitch or a tractor when using this ripper.

Heavy duty but hole alignment for assembly was faulty
The product is heavy duty and built sturdy enough for a sub-compact utility tractor or small compact utility tractor. Assembly by design should be very easy and take 5 minutes. However, the holes drilled to attached the digging foot to the shank did not align properly, so I needed to drill out the drilling foot larger to accommodate. That weakened the foot, clearly, but I'm hoping since it is largely in compression and not pulling against the bolt/hole it won't be a limitation. Obviously, these are massed produced and go out as is, without any QC to assure the holes actually fit properly. Less expensive than the competition, but you get what you pay for. Having said that, I would buy it again knowing that I might have to tweak it a little.

Good product
Exceeded my expectations. Built strong enough for most small landscape tractors. I used it to rip up some drought stricken hard clay that was like concrete, handling it with no problems.
