We used metal water dishes, which were always getting dirty, especially with the young chickens being so flightly. Purchased this set so our chicken sitter wouldn't have to deal with gross dishes. I am wondering why I waited so long!! The water says very clean and it is easy to refill. The feeder is great too...easy to fill and works well. The chickens caught on quickly and are using both. The plastic is heavy duty, the tops fit well, they seems very sturdy. They are easy to install...I hung the feeder using the hooks on the hardware cloth of our chicken pen. The waterer I mounted using the screws provided on the side of the coop, since it is heavy when filled up. The package included a lot of extras, which are fun.

Product is great! With 10 chickens, I refill the water every 4 days. Antibacterial plastic makes me feel good about the water they are drinking. I like the size of the containers as they are easy to fill and port wherever you need them without them being too heavy. The food typically lasts about 2 weeks before it needs refilling.Some feedback for the company:The stickers are cute but not practical and kind of unnecessary, as they peel off when wet. They lasted about a week but the containers are great. We’ve had them a couple months now and they are durable!

This is a nice set that came nicely packaged. It comes with extra stuff and everything you need to hang it up if you want, but it’s not necessary.The feeder is not mess free, food still falls out while they’re eating, but the opening is large enough for them to actually eat, which was important to me. I also love that it has port covers to help keep rodents from feasting at night. It also comes with both cups and nipples for the waterer. So far I haven’t seen any water leakage and everything was super easy to put together.My four star rating is because of shipping. It comes up as a prime item but took 5 days to receive.***UPDATE***This set does not have carrying handles. I wish I would have paid better attention to that because it is difficult to take them in and out of the run for regular cleaning.

I have been trying to find something to feed and water my chickens while I am out of town. This works perfect. Feeders 6 chickens for about a week. No leaks on the water unit. For the price I found the product to be more than worth the money it cost, which was not much. Very happy.

Feeder is great and the extra chicken toys are great. Water feeder leaks. Cup are installed correctly and tight but leaks out in half a day.

I purchased based on a recommendation. Glad I did. I was looking for something low maintenance. I no longer have an issue with feed all over the place. No more messes. You can cap it off at night if you want with the caps provided. The water stays clean on the inside. I do a good rinse every 3-4 days and have yet to see any algae or anything else that’s gross in the water. I am completely happy with this set. It’s sturdy and holds plenty of feed and water. Easy to put together and easy to hand with provided hooks.

Very happy about these! They feel good enough quality and they were super easy to assemble. My chickens figured out the nipple system within one day with help from me tapping it / showing them. Now they have clean water and constant access to food. It would be nice if they were a bit bigger but the toys and sign you get as well make up for it, how could you beat that price.

Best feeder and waterer for chickens! Holds a weeks worth of food and water for 6 chickens! Super easy to put together! Chickens have no issues using it!
