Broke after 1 year
After almost a year of extremely infrequent use, it is now broken. Does not stay down, elements don't turn on. Waste of money.

My old Philips toaster has finally died after many years of service and I have replaced it with this Philips toaster. What a disappointment! One side of the toast is always burnt even on level 2 or 3. The heating wiring appears to be done extremely unevenly.
