I adore any toys that create a teachable moment. My little 6 year old grandbaby was fascinated and used the tools to excavate. He was so excited to find things at the "dig". It can be a little messy so put down a towel or sheet but a real site is messy. I want him to love archeology and the natural world.

The kids enjoyed it and loved the fossils. But i noticed that the fossils are not the best, yet acceptable. Nevertheless, for the price i would recommend.
