Flexible, Strong, and Perfect for Detailed Jewelry Work
I used this 24-gauge wire for jewelry making, and it’s been great to work with. The antique brass color is beautiful, rich, warm, and consistent throughout the spool. It adds a nice vintage look to handmade pieces without needing any extra finishing or polishing. The wire itself is easy to bend and shape, but still sturdy enough to hold its form once wrapped. It’s ideal for detailed work like wrapping stones, linking charms, or adding accents to more structured designs. I also love that it’s tarnish-resistant, my pieces still look brand new after weeks of wear. This is a reliable, high-quality wire that’s both beginner-friendly and great for more intricate projects. Pro tip: pair it with matching jump rings or clasps in antique brass for a cohesive look in your designs.

I used this to make eye pins and it worked pretty well
I looked high and low for some antique brass colored eye pins but couldn't find anything I wanted that was Prime eligible. So, I decided I would make my own. I do admit to ordering this without much thought about wire gauge. It turns out that this is working quite well for me. I am only wanting to put one small glass bead on each eye pin (I am making a multistrand chain necklace with beads on eye pins). I have been somewhat obsessed with vintage Japanese drops for awhile and am trying to create a similar look (albeit with Czech glass, since I have more of that on hand). This wire is great for that. It is a bit thin, at 24 gauge, but for holding just a single glass bead, it is perfectly strong enough. I am not sure that if you made the type of necklace I'm working on and then tugged on it really hard, that the wire would hold, but it certainly will under normal wear conditions (I've already completed one strand and tried it on for size). This is very easy to work with; I'm easily able to make loops in it that stay in place using simple round nose pliers, and it cuts easily with most jewelry wire cutters. It matches the chain I bought in color and I like using this instead of real eye pins because I feel there is less wire waste -- I can cut the wire to the length I need, whereas with commercial eye pins, I might have to trim some excess off. This also strikes me as being good for wire-wrapping (though *I* am not good at wire wrapping yet). It's thin enough to get it to do what you want, but it holds its shape. I played around with this and a Coiling Gizmo a bit and it went pretty well, for example. So, if you are looking for thin wire for making eye pins or wire wrapping, this is easy to work with and looks pretty good.

Quality Wire!
I am a handcrafting jewelry artist and love using colored wire for my designs. This 24-gauge wire is easy to work with and is not stiff like other craft wire sources of this gauge. I love the luster of the finish; it is beautiful AND is truly tarnish resistant. I still have projects that I wear myself that are several years old and the wire has never faded, nor the finish marred from repeated wear! I use a popular dish soap for cleaning to remove any body oils from wearing and the pieces look brand new! I have been using Beadalon wire for many years and trust the consistent quality their brand offers. They offer a very reasonable price, and I prefer the larger lengths they have available to purchase. Check out their other wire products, you will be pleased at how nicely your projects turn out.

Consistent Color? Reliable? You Bet!
After making wire wrap bracelets for years, now I only use Artistic Wire. The silver-plated product is very popular. With Artistic Wire, the colors are consistent among the different sizes (gauges) of wire and from roll to roll. Both are important when making jewelry that use different wires in the same piece of jewelry.
