Compostable Freezer Bags – Are They Worth It?
I initially purchased BioGrade compostable freezer bags because they are an eco-friendly alternative to regular plastic bags. While I appreciate the environmental benefits, I found the quality and usability disappointing. One major issue is the sealing mechanism—it’s difficult to open and close. For a product that is already significantly more expensive than traditional plastic freezer bags, I expected better durability and functionality. Ultimately, I stopped buying them because they did not meet my quality expectations. While I love the idea of a sustainable option, these bags need improvements in their sealing design and overall usability before they become a practical replacement for regular freezer bags.
